Great food and super yummy. Manager Jason is so hospitable and very accommodating especially with young kids. Our toddler was crying and he made us feel so comfortable. Thanks.

I ordered cod with chips. The fish is fresh and big. Chips are well fried. You cannot really complain much about the food. Plus, the manager is super friendly.However, the price is a bit towards the higher end as you fries is not included in the price with service charge. I suppose you are paying a bit more given the location and friendly service.

Enjoy a big fish and chips at the golden hind. They’ve been serving for more than a hundred years. You can feel the experience they have in every single bite of your crispy fish (I had a haddock). It’s clearly worth the price 14.5£ even though I would have appreciated French fries to be included (rather than 2.9£) especially they were far from being exceptional. The mozzarella sticks were ok for appetizer. The fish was nicely and lightly crisply coated. Drinks were a little bit over priced. The staff is very kind and welcoming.I would recommend just to have a fish and other side than French fries.

This place is a very classic British fish and chips. The service was great, always attentive and ready to serve. The food came out quickly and we all ordered the cod which was delicious. The portion size is a bit big but who can complain about that. All in all a great experience and very friendly.

The salmon fish cakes were lovely and the owner and staff were very attentive. Great service. Definitely will be going back to try the rest on the menu

Good fish and chips. Very good personnel. Yet, you would expect a bit more warmth, convivial atmosphere somehow.

Very disappointing, I ordered a Steamed haddock, chips and garden peas and the food came cold. Very small portion of chips. The dish was not well presented, usually there is some sort of garnish with any dish. How hard is it to include? This is basic cooking 101. The garden peas, nothing to shout out for. The tartare sauce was disgusting. Usually, it includes capers. Probably selected from a cheap distributor. It was tasteless. Salad cream would have been a better accompaniment. I did not stay for the dessert. I will not come again. Avoid.

One of the best Chippys in London. The fish is fresh and delicious. It's not over fried but still crispy. They have all the classic trappings of an old fashioned fish and chips joint.

Excellent fish varieties to chose from. Prawn cocktail starter is really good. Enjoyed authentic crispy crested fish fry.

I've come to this place multiple times and they consistently deliver quality fish and chips. Despite being busy our last visit, the wait staff were quick to accommodate us and get us seated. We had the fried cod and haddock and both were delicious. Prices are a little steeper than elsewhere (chips aren't automatically included with your fish!!!). Still this definitely is one of the better fish and chip choices in central London.
