One of my favourites. It’s easy to get a walk in table for lunch (dim sum) and service is very quick. Food is delicious and price is good as well.

I should start by saying we're weekly dim-sum goers and have tried most of the dim sum places in the Chinatown so we know what's acceptable and what's not in Chinatown. At here, some food was average, and the rest was unfortunate blow the standard (especially with the siu mai and dishes with rice sheet wrapping). Horrible service - we were told off several times by the waiter without doing anything wrong, and immediately after our dining we were told to leave because "there's a long queue outside waiting", which upon leaving we realised there was not even a single person waiting outside. The only positive side of this place is possibly that it's cheap - and for good reasons.

Always know what we'll get here, and that is an indulgent feast of Chinese deliciousness. Service can be slow sometimes and last time it might have been missing a bit of salt, but mostly it is usually an easy, yummy experience. Get the duck! Crispy, roasted Cantonese, both!! (Only remembered to take a pic way after we were tucked into the noms)

The dim sum was amazing, the menu has both Chinese script and English, you are also given a menu with pictures that show you what each dish looks like, so you can put a name to a dish if you can't remember what you like. The service was excellent, quick and the staff were extremely friendly. The food was some of the tastiest dim sum I've ever had the pleasure to eat, I would easily call the food eaten here, one of the highlights of my trip.

I love this place. Can't wait to go back to try other dishes. The dumplings were delicious. Ordered more than what I could eat. Staff were kind enough to explain what ingredients where in the dim sums as I had allergies. Friendly staff. Great Atmosphere!!!

Food and fuel …. With Petroleum prices as they are in 2022 … pretty similar to this dinning experience .Food was pretty average , Won Tong soup , broth was tasteless dumplings casings broken , guess cooked and frozen and thrown into hot stock .Sweet and sour , chewy chicken bites .. more odd bits of peppers and onion , dry … noodles with bean sprout , taste burnt from wok pan .Duck was Boney …. And boney ….. OMG so bony !! No meat … very poor …The rest pretty average … guess serving food everyday to the masses quality is out the window . So poor … poor service .. as normal in China town .Probably best here to eat is the dumpling menu .. if you Dare . Apparently it’s been awarded three stars of hygiene out of Five 😱😬😮😲

The dumplings here are horrible.. it didn't seemed cooked .. the chicken curry itself was okay.. but the prices do not justify the quality of the food.. it's pretty much your average food charged at a high price...the food we ordered came within 5 mins of ordering .. so this is definitely not fresh and has been sitting there for a while ... Would not recommend this place to anyone !

Great food, good price. The soups were awesome and the dimsums were heavenly!

went for dim sum lunch and everything we had tasted very good. we mostly tried the steamed dishes. service was also good, and prices quite low (about £18 each and we had loads!)

The Lotus Garden has been a bit of a go-to place for our family. I’ve honestly never had a bad meal. The staff are always very friendly even though it always seems a bit of rush for them; multiple floors, multiple menu, multiple tables but only one loo… but that to me holds the charm. I don’t deny it’s a very, very, busy place but that’s because it’s very, very, popular. It’s not fancy, but it has an honesty in its simplicity that I really like. On past visits they were always great with small fussy children and their foibles (noodles with chicken and NO vegetables) and I will always be grateful to them whenever we go. This visit was just for two and a simple lunch of Dim Sum. It was all very tasty. China town is bustling with restaurants and it’s sometimes hard to make a decision, the Lotus Garden is an easy fit for good, fresh, affordable, authentic, Chinese food. Give it a try and enjoy!
