If you are fish and chips lover then do yourself a favor and visit the Golden Union. Taste is unmatched, restaurant environment awesome and the caring staff. Absolutely the best in the town. Absolutely in treat my-self list. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Crispy batter, excellent halibut and tartar. Many vegetarian options available! Definitely we should come back.

Nice fish and chips, the batter was excellent and the fish plenty big for a small portion. Reasonable price for central London and excellent service. Also very clean and pleasant inside.

A really fabulous fish and chip shop, with a plant based menu. Although it was packed when we arrived we were glad we waited. The staff were lovely, especially the friendly waitresses, and the vegan fish and chips got a big thumbs up from me, as well as from my non-vegan friend who ordered the same. Those of my friends who did have fish (as there is the option for both) said their dishes were really good too. Wonderful place to go and eat, whether you're vegan or not, I hope they continue to do well.P.s. there were other vegan options too such as; battered sausage, and katsu pie.

Before I ate fish and chips here, I thought fish and chips were fishy(of course but the smell :() and oily. If you’re like me, try here. It’s not salty not fishy and halloumi is excellent! Not to mention the friendly servers😁 Looking forward to my second visit!

Crispy batter, flaky fish and good chips. Battered sausage is also very tasty. Can’t ask for much more for fish and chips. Only downside was the curry sauce which was a bit stodgy - bit too much cornflour I suspect.

Coming back here after Nov 2019.. post Covid they've made a few changes - they've upgraded the cutlery, they've updated the place and they've also reduced the number of tables a lil cos of covid I presume.. but the one thing that hasn't changed is how good the food is! One of the best fish & chip places in London and it's very reasonable. While the fish is very good, the steak and ale pie was an unexpected revelation! Definite recommend!

Pollock and chips were too notch!Mushy peas were a tad too rich though.Great service and ambiance, food was even better.Highly recommended!

The best fish & chips! The fish was so good and crispy 😊 the chips wasn’t very crispy but it was good also. The food came very fast and the staff were very nice! I ordered a small meal and it was pretty big😅 my friend is vegan and she really liked the vegan fish&chips!

Good fish and chips shop with cool interiors. Their batter is nicely seasoned and crispy. fish is fresh and chips are well done. Portion size is huge- their small fish is very filling. Their tartar sauce, curry sauce and mushy peas along with their service was also outstanding.
