I ordered a grand biryani which is about £18. I really want to say that there was nothing grand about the biryani. The taste was mediocre , no salt and the portion was terrible. I was barely full . Hated it.

Rude serving staff - we arrived with our baby in a pram - staff initially directed us to a table at the back, then asked if the pram folds - it didn't - he then asked us to move to the window - then insisted on moving us again as it would cause an issue for a non existent party of six - he then asked again if the pram folds and as it could not asked us to leave. Not family friendly would not recommend.

Was not bad to be honest but could be better. The only thing I found weird was I was the ONLY customer there 😬 other tables empty

I wish I had read previous reviews of this restaurant before dining there. The signs were there upon entering but I preferred to overlook them. The place looked outdated, there was only one table occupied and we were pounced on as soon as we walked through the door. The manager who came across to take our order was very rude to my wife when she asked him a question about one of the dishes. The meals were very bland and contained very little chicken (4 pieces) for a high price. We were constantly starred at and talked about by the two managers which made us feel uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We hope people will read this and give the place a wide birth as there are far better Indian restaurants in the area.

Truly the worst Indian food and service I’ve had in a while. Avoid it and save yourself from food poisoning. The cherry on top is overcharging the patrons and when confronted of this the management becomes very defensive and call the patron names. Disgusting

This restaurant really is a jewel in Covent Garden. We arrived on a Friday evening and despite being busy, the staff managed to find us a table. They were so friendly and polite and nothing was too nuch trouble. The resdtaurant had a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious and we ordered red wine which was beautiful. I left the restaurant leaving my bag of Christmas cards and presents behind and returned to Nottingham. Realising I wouldn't be in London for a while, I contacted the restaurant who quickly packaged my goods up into a box and posted them back to me. They wouldn't even let me pay for the postage. I have to say they have been incredibly kind and have made my Christmas. Thank you Mo for all you have done and Merry Christmas to you all. We look forward to visiting you again in the new year.

My friend and I were the first customer back after they have been closed due to the pandemic. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and I highly recommended this place. I will most certainly be back here soon

Clearly no one is remotely interested in giving good service, leave the below average food taste. They serve you the kadhai dish in a kadhai but no plate to eat and you need to ask that, shouldn’t it be obvious to the staff. The waiter was not bothered to come to my table to take my order he was comfortable shouting from other side of the restaurant and replying to me by shouting back and sign languages. The bill he gave me was effing hand written - (are you kidding me ), the normal hotels have computerized bills in India as well and they mandatorily charge service tax for such a horrible and tortured service. It is very shameful of them.
