Grenadier in City of London

I returned for the first time in over 10 years and it was as excellent as I remember. A great choice of beer, wine and spirits and really friendly staff in a quiet Belgravia mews location. A really friendly crowd of local workers and residents gave it a great vibe. It's definitely worth a visit and definitely worth a return.

Lovely old pub that looks superb inside and outside. Unique style. The food offering is decent for a pub but it’s maybe one way they could improve even more. But I’d happily eat there (unlike many pubs) and I regularly take visitors.

My wife and I stopped in on Sunday for lunch. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. We shared the beef Wellington which was a smart idea for lunch. We will definitely stop in again if we are nearby.

Great intimate pub in Belgravia, a stone throw away from Hyde Park Corner, well hidden in a quiet mews. Full of history, very cozy - we went for dinner and had an excellent beef Wellington. The atmosphere was excellent and all the history is on the walls and on the ceiling !

This discreet pub has an Intimate bar with additional seating in the rear. Food was excellent, well presented and well priced. Friendly staff and diverse clientele. A very atmospheric and historic pub with its own ghost. A gem of Belgravia.

I very rarely leave reviews but I had such a lovely evening out for Christmas Eve that I just have to. Beef Wellington for him and Veggie Wellington for me, both with delicious roast veg and gravy. Fantastic food and the perfect cozy atmosphere! Really a gem in London.

Unless you were taken there - you'd be hard pressed to find even if you do know London well. Had a great time there with the boys, drinks reasonable. Didn't get to eat there - but the food that was coming out looked like decent pub food. Service excellent, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Roof is plastered with currency from all over the world...

I have been coming to the Grenadier since I moved to London in 1997. Every time I am back it simply moves me; no music, no pretentious customers, no hipster beer in jam jars. I sat here with my dad, with my best mates and often just on my own at the end of a long day in London. It simply is the best place. Full stop. (And so good that it’s hard to find!)

Best Wellington beef in London!Cozy pub with a friendly service. Me and friend of mine shared a scotch egg and truffle chips with parmisan cheese and finally got a very generous portion of sticky toffee pudding, everything was simply amazing! What a discover! It’s already been one of my favorite pub!
