#resturantSwindlersDined here on saturday 12th Feb - a valentines meal with my bae.Making a point to get the cheapest wine on the menu. When the bill arrived, politely I asked and told the waitress that I could not afford to pay the full service charge of 30% as I am currently a student. She proceeded to argue with me claiming that the service charge was the only way she would get paid for her job and asked if I had enjoyed the meal.I responded, I got the beef tartar not realising it was raw (I thought it was beef and tar tar sauce -- 😅) so didnt eat that but tried it. And the tirramusi I'd never tried before which was also left because it had cream and coffee e.t.cAs we discussed, the lovely host who had welcomed us came to the table to check what was wrong but the waitress who was trying to operate the card machine spoke something in Italian and she walked away without hearing what we had to say.To make matters worse, the card machine (system) wasnt working... so after three attempts, the lady attempting to collect payment said oh, do you not have money? At this point I was angry so I checked my account only to see I had already been transacted 1 successful payment of 99£. I told her this which she said she would check with management.Someone else returned about 5 mins later and asked if we would like a receipt to which I responded "what? So it did go through?" And a very short man said "yes, would you like a receipt" to which I responded NoBecause now we were late to seeing Wicked at theater. Now,I'm a fair diner and have travelled and eaten in many many places...But why should I be embarrased and forced to pay for something that is optional especially as I did not enjoy myself? To make matters worse, when you're late to see Wicked the musical, they make you wait and watch it in the lobby on a small screen till its okay(ish) to be seated so not to rightfully disturb the other guests. What an absolute joke of an evening meal.Save your money and tastebuds guys/dolls/queers/non-binary go elsewhere!!Feel sorry for the chef that these are the people representing their food...Never eating here again; infact I got #resturantSwindled!

Seriously great value for delicious trad Italian food. Staff really friendly too. Don't be put off by the seemingly back street location!

Lovely, charming restaurant. Close to Victoria but on a peaceful side street. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve been a few times and can say the food is consistently delicious and high quality, I think the price is very good for such authentic Italian food in London. Highly recommended!

Located very close to Pimlico and tucked away on a side street, this is the best Italian restaurant I have visited so far in London. Roberto and his staff provided excellent service. Most importantly the food was flavourful and exquisitely presented. The prices were reasonable too. I am told that the restaurant also caters to private events. If you are in the area this understated restaurant is well worth a visit.

Genuine Italian restaurant right behind Victoria. The staff is very attentive and the food is delicious. The chef and the waiters are all Italian and ready to recommend you the best dishes according to your tastes. Very good selection of wines too. Recommended!

Really amazing food! It's so rare to find fresh made pasta in London... felt we were almost in Italy.

On our walk back to our hotel we decided to head into this Italian restaurant. The service was good and fast, there was hardly any waiting time which was perfect for us because we came in hungry!! One server brought us water, another took our order and another brought our food out.We ordered the bruschetta, ravioli and mushroom risotto. The bruschetta tasted great! It had just the right amount of arugula plated and the same for the oil and vinegar drizzle. The ravioli was good however, there were only three in the dish for the price of £15 or so which, I think is too expensive for what I tasted. The mushroom risotto started out as tasting good but after a while it began to leave a fishy taste in my mouth which shouldn’t happen since the entire dish is vegetarian. This is probably due to a lack of strong cleaning from the pans used for this dish. The staff were all polite and pleasant. Some even spoke Italian, which was nice because we live in Italy and are used to speaking common phrases in Italian when we’re out to eat. When a female server picked dishes up from the table next to me, her long braided hair touched my plate of risotto. There was no hair cooked in my food but her hair is so long, below waist level, that it was able to touch my plate when she turned to move around the table next to me.I had a decent time at this restaurant but personally, the food is overpriced and the staff watch the tables too closely that I didn’t feel like I could enjoy my meal at my leisure. Therefore, it was a pleasant night out but I will not be returning to this establishment.

A lovely Italian restaurant with good service and excellent food. Quite a cosy place with an open kitchen and a private dining room below. I came here for New Year's Eve dinner so it was a set price with a set menu to choose from. Enjoyed it and would happily return/recommend.
