The restaurant is inside the casino. 4 stars for food and 5 stars for the service.

After speaking highly to my guests about Heliot Steakhouse I invited them for dinner. We were seated and our waiter was really nice introduced his self. We ordered our mains as the starters weren't appealing to us, after waiting over 50 minutes for our tomahawk and t bone, Our food arrived. This is where it all went wrong steak cold and bland no taste half the t bone was covered with fat, chewy and probably the worst steak I've had. The tomahawk arrived cold literally cold I mean it. The waiter took it back and re heated which then was slightly better. The beans were so over cooked maybe the chef should go to covent garden the Ivy and try their beans and understand how it should be cooked. The peas and carrots was ok edible. But credit to the kitchen with frying the chips that was the best part of the night, Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside.Waiter asked if we would like desserts we immediately asked for the bill.I would of given it 1 but the waiter was polite, professional and friendly. Thanks but never again!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was nice and polite. The steak was top marks. I want to go back! The meal deal we paid for was total value for money and did not feel cheap at all. I am 110% impressed. Thank you, Heliot. We had a great time.

Steak was seriously impressive. There were some oddities in the service though. I thought it was the kind of place that you wouldn’t usually go to unless someone else is paying.A lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of the food. It’s inside the Hippodrome casino so perhaps the customers want flashy, over the top presentation. The restaurant delivers that with beautiful bowls and dishes that come frothing with with dry ice.The Ocean Plate was nice but came with the wrong kind of soy sauce IMHO. Sushi is usually paired with a much lighter soy sauce. I had the 350g ribeye and it was some of the best steak I have ever had. Chimichurri sauce was nice. There are many steak options on the menu but most of them were unavailable (supply chain issues?). The side of chips and the side of carrots and peas were slightly dry. For dessert I went for the Mango Baked Alaska. It turned out to be a somewhat deconstructed variant that looked like something that had been run over by a motorbike, smoke still streaming from the box it was served on.The restaurant occupies three or so steppes overlooking a gaming floor. The spaces are narrow and loud and chaotic. Staff did a great job considering the environment but this is not somewhere you would want to go for a romantic evening. The service is oddly rigid as well. We had made two separate sets of bookings and it would have made sense to combine them into one booking but this didn’t happen. At least we got both groups sitting in the same area. You also aren’t allowed to order starters for your group and then decide on mains later. All food must be ordered at once by the whole group (they made an exception for one member of our group who was arriving later). There was no particular explanation given for this. The restaurant did not seem understaffed; there was an army of waiting staff on hand to deliver food and open bottles of wine.

Incredible steak. Amazing service. Convenient for theatre and and all of Central London. Also other great facilities within the Casino. Grab a your membership card before dining for a discount.

Went for my partners birthday. I have to say the food was incredible, we had a chateaubriand between two (£60 without sides) and it was 100% worth it. Best steak around town IMO.The service was okay, we had a waitress who we had to ask numerous times for various things, however all in all would recommend.

Nice venue, but server didn't wear a mask and steak was average. Served warm and accompanying bits were average (chips and side salad), would go back for a drink because it's a nice venue but not too eat).

Lovely meal with a lot of choice & okay-ish service. Asked the waitress what cocktails were available as we couldn’t see a list and she said “the basics”, also didn’t seem too happy with her tables of two… only interested in entertaining her large tables.

Good steakhouse with a great variety of choice of meat. Can choose pretty much any size and combination of steaks, the sides don't disappoint either. Dessert menu, however, was not as impressive. Also, it gets quite hot if you're sitting at the top level as there's no air circulation.

Really enjoyed our visit to Heliot. The atmosphere was different, being inside the casino and overlooking the gaming floor, but this gave it a kind of nice buzz. The menu gave good choice and the food was excellent - it's rare that I can honestly say all 3 courses were excellent, but they really were. Good presentation too (dry ice used for added effect). Friendly and helpful staff rounded off the experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
