Absolutely amazing pub with a brilliant manager to match.Visited here last Saturday on a windy and rainy day. The manager welcomed us and asked if we were cold, he recommended the fire place was burning in the next room. It was AMAZING.Decent prices for the area, but the best thing about this gem is the decor. It's like stepping back in time.Would definitely recommend!

I was passing with my friend last night and having looked through the window decided to go in for a quick drink. This is a really beautiful pub full of period features. The landlord and lady were really friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back, next time with my wife.

Bev and Kev are lovely and friendly landlords.Beautiful old building, just beware that it is Sam Smiths so will only sell their own beer.That said, 'pure brewed' lager is a cracking pint.

if I could give no stars I would. I have tried to support this pub as it's often so nearly empty.... never again. apparently Sam Smiths pubs forbid the use of phones so got chucked out yesterday for that being on the phone... just think if you need a safe place away from your mother with dementia for a hour or away from a place you live sometimes where the walls are so thin you hear everything then obviously a Sam Smith pub is not the place to be... rant over

A typical old-fashioned London pub. Not as busy as Soho area just down the round and served delicious Sam Smiths 'Guinness'.

Lovely pub. The architecture is beautiful, the beers and ciders are superb, the decor is relaxed with touches of opulence - deep woods and racing green. The only thing I dislike is the ban on phone use... It's a 'Sam Smiths' pub thing so not THIS pubs fault. So silly. I'm a social Strategist and I like to sit in a pub alone and do a bit of work. Otherwise - smashing spot ... very reasonably priced considering the area. The food is very modest pub food - bit like going round to a mates house when he's just digging something out to eat after a good night. Has it's charm tho!

Great place for food and drinks this pub is a gem of a place very good value for money and the quality of the food is excellent. It has a lovely mirrored bar and a couple of cosy lounge bars at the back, food is served upstairs where there is a small bar
