India Garden in City of London

It was ok. Standard curry house. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. Ideal after a couple of beers. Place did fill up quickly on the Friday I went there.

We have not had an Indian meal out for 2 and a bit years.was worth the wait. Food was excellent and well priced. Would recommended.

Best takeaway since the last time we had food delivered from here! This really is the best local curry house - I go out of my way to have food from here. Incredible value and great quality.

I have ordered takeaway from India Garden a few times and it always arrived on time and hot. The dishes are delicious and portions of good size, especially when compared to some other places I ordered from. I will definitely order again and I recommend India Garden to anyone.

Starters both ok, king pawn puree and a shami kebab (although kebab slightly dry).Mains far too sweet. Chicken masala with minced lamb especially was out of balance and was basically just sugar and coconut. Dhansak was just sweet not sweet and sour, and tasted a bit like gravy but was ok. Also dont order rice as it comes with the dhansak.Sides were all pretty decent but the mains tainted the rest of it so a lot of food left over.

The food here on Wednesday has a very good deal! However the quality isn't the best you can get round here. I've been twice and will probably not come back

A welcoming, smart and comfortable restaurant, that has a friendly and calm group of staff.The food was delicious and served excellently. The price of the food was good and most importantly worth the price. I appreciated a kind drink on the house as well.A simple conclusion: for me to leave a tip it must have been good...!

The service was poor.We got there at 7.05And got served at 8.40We asked for a jug of water and got two small glasses.They made no effort to hurry up until we threatened to leave.As soon as we said that then suddenly the food arrived.The food was decent .However we did get free drinks.We had to ask for Napkin's.We reserved a table and when we got there , there was no table and we had to wait 10 or so minutes for them to prepare a table.Overall 4.5 out of ten.

Stay well clear!I ordered a curry to be delivered last night through the website and was told it would take around 45 minutes. After 1 hour I called to find out where my order was and was told that the order had "just left the restaurant' (nice and convenient) and it would be with me in 10 minutes. Half an hour later, with no sign of my order I called back and asked where it was as it had now been 90 minutes since I placed my order. Whilst on the phone, the order eventually arrived, but it was stone cold. I spoke to somebody to complain and at first they attempted to fob me off to Just Eat, despite the fact that I had already explained the order was made through their own website! All I was offered was a free curry next time. I explained that I wouldn't be interested in ever ordering from them again and asked if they could take some of the money off the bill as a gesture of good will (I was being reasonable as I believe I was entitled to a full refund), but I was told that there was only one person in the business who was able to authorise refunds and he would not be back for another week. The curry was so cold it was inedible and we had gone beyond the point of being hungry. Awful delivery service, awful curry and awful customer service. Do not touch this place! Im only giving this one star as zero was not an option!
