Kalamaras Greek Taverna in City of London

The team was very flexible and rearranged tables for us. Nice starters, the mains took longer and we were getting impatient but the size of the group might have affected that (7 people). Food was prepared well and tasted delicious. Rose wine was okay, were too full for a dessert unfortunately. Good spot for Greek food

Amazing food. Amazing service. We went twice in the week we were in London and the food, atmosphere and service was exceptional. George really makes you feel like you're at home and the entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. My husband and I will definitely be coming back here and bringing as many people as we can with us! Also, for anyone who loves lamb, both lamb dishes I had were cooked to perfection and either one will make your night.

We went on a Monday night and it was rammed so best book to avoid disappointment. Food was great and very authentic. Took a star off because they have the front door open as it's quite a small restaurant and when people smoke outside you can't help but smell it. The doors to the toilets and staff areas could do with a clean/painting. But the food makes it worth while.

A cozy restaurant with high standards, Kalamaras delivered on the ravings we saw on Google reviews. The food was some of the best Greek food I've ever had, especially the mousaka. If you're ever in this part of London you would be doing yourself a disservice by not coming to have a meal here.

Nice and cozy place. Good food and an exceptional host. Too bad that is not located right on the main street, making this restaurant not very easy to find. Totally recommended!

Awesome... Loved it... I love Greece and apart from the sun and the sea this was a Greek taverna. Great food, delicious baklava, friendly staff, great wine.... Only complaint was that they tried to sneak 2 service charges on top of the bill but we spotted it, check the bill before you pay! Great tho highly recommend.

My husband and I stumbled (literally... we got lost) upon this fantastic gem! The food was incredible! I have not found anything in the states to compare. I hope I can cause the overseas trip is expensive to make to get some delicious Greek food! So glad we found this place. I had chicken and my husband had lamb and both were so good you wanted to order seconds!
