Kappacasein in City of London

I think it’s a must try if you haven’t had it before. One is big enough for 2-3 people.

Definitely go here! They heat up a half wheel of their own Raclette cheese and then push/pour the sizzling molten cheese on top of baby potatoes 😋🤩 So yum! Can add salt and pepper and pickles to the dish too. Worth a try!

The friendliest people and some of the best cheese out there. The toastie with leeks and onion is amazing!

It was our 2nd visit to Borough Market and we were there for a purpose, getting Kappacasein Dairy, which is famous for its cheesy Reclette and attractive Panini.We had an order of Reclette to share as a breakfast, which might have been too heavy but super satisfying. The staff made the platter by sliding the cheesy and melted reclette on boiled baby potatoes and pickles.It was worth our trip there again and my husband still misses their creamy cheese so much after weeks.

I've had the cheese toastie twice now and it blew me away both times! So much flavor with the onion and leeks, and perfect level of cheesiness. Will definitely be coming back for more

We visited second time now:) missing cheese toast and raclett. They are very cheerful and friendly and tasty of cheese is amazing. Cheese onion and leek toast is my favorite. But i tried raclett today. Very good combination 🤩🤩

This place has one of the best cheese sandwich in London. It taste so good a must try if you’re in borough market. It is quiet heavy though so if you are not very hungry or want to have more food from around then it is better to share it with others. Staff are nice as well

Best toasted cheese sandwich ever. I don’t really like too much cheese on my food, but this one is different. Too much cheese won’t hurt! Perfection in every bite. It’s located near HSBC at the entrance gate of Borough Market. Your Borough Market experience would never be complete without this.

As others’ mentioned. £7 is WAY too much. It’d still be a decent sandwich for £5, sharing between 2-3 people. The cheese is really thick and salty. I like it for the first three bites, after that i was bored of it.Plus I was eating alone so it’d be a sin to throw away my £7.If you really like cheese I think it’d still be nice to try it for once. But, not necessarily.And make sure you get enough napkin.

Quite simply one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches anywhere ever. Hunt it down in Borough Market, there’s usually a queue and rightfully so. The depth of flavour, the different onions for texture and the perfect bread combine for something truly special.
