Really nice experience, good food with lovely welcome. Always nicely served, reasonable price. Sure will come back.

The atmosphere was welcoming and the place cosy.Restaurant is off the main street in a calm corner.We received complimentary bread, hummus, tea and baklava which was a pleasant surprise :)The price was reasonable given the generous portions.Bread was fresh and had a wonderful buttery smell, ditto for the rice.Dolma was packed with flavour and the lamb was nice and tender!Will be visiting again when I can!

Thank you very much for the services and especially the food. it was excellent from start to finish. we enjoyed each butcher starting with the welcome soup then the hummus and the main course. I really hope with all my heart to eat again in your restaurant. Thank you also to the lady who gave us good advice and above all served us.

Dined in for lunch in Oct and Dec 2021. Cosy Iraqi restaurant that you’ll find off the Edgware Road. Huge portions, clean premises, warm and quick service, tremendous value for money. My dining companion and I particularly enjoy the lamb shank quzi (lamb shank on a bed of rice with a tomato based okra or aubergine stew for sauce), as well as the Iraqi Dolme (rice-stuffed tomato, pepper, aubergine served alongside an absolutely enormous roast lamb shoulder). Their Shanina (similar to Iranian doogh or Turkish Ayran) is also very light yet creamy.

The food has no taste. The dolmah is stuffed with overcooked dey rice, no spices, no flavour! The kuzi lamb meat tastes just like boiled meat. There are definitely way better iraqi options in London.

Booked a table here at 10:30pm as we were arriving in London late. When we arrived the girl at the bar told us they were closing. We explained we had a table booked, a man from the back came and informed her that this was true. She did not seem happy with this. When ordering our food I order lamb skewers cubes and I asked if I could have it with rice not naan. She said she could make it with rice. When my food arrived I did not receive rice or lamb skewers cubes, I was given lamb kebab with naan. My partner had lamb shank with rice. All the food in general did not have much flavour and it wasn’t very warm. We order two sets of teas and only received one. It just seemed like the waitress was ready to go home as she put her coat on and kept watching us as we ate. The whole experience was not pleasant. The only good thing about it was the decent price of the food. Overall the taste of the food and the customer service was just terrible. I wouldn’t go there again.

Lovely restaurant. Visited with the kids and couldn't fault it. Food was delicious. Complimentary soup and salad, bread and hummus was a nice surprise. Food was plentiful, go with an empty stomach. Would go back 100%. Staff were friendly and me you feel welcome.

I come often here. Very nice Iraqi cuisine. Usually quite and peaceful. The Dolma and Kuzi are excellent here.

Really enjoyed the food. It arrived on the table piping hot, you could see the steam. The chicken and the meat were very tender. I was also amazed at the lavash bread they served. Which was very similar to a Kashmiri lavasa (flatbread). Really enjoyed the food. Only thing that kind of was annoying was, when I asked the leftovers to be packed for takeaway, they gave me the boxes to pack it away my self! But apart from that the service was fast and the food was good.

It was served with no onions, but the menu said onions and any Greek salad I’ve ever had contains onions so please always prep with onions, it’s sooo good.I’d say you could also make the Greek salad smaller. It’s too big for one person and the price is too inexpensive for such a big portion.Main course Sea Bass, grilled - this was the highlight of the meal, absolutely delightful. I ate the entire thing. The flavors and set-up were delicious. If you’re adventurous and don’t mind doing some work, get the sea bass. Lots of people got the regular old chicken and lamb skewers, which I’m sure were fantastic, but I know the sea bass was superior, no doubt.Mint tea with little dessert trio - outstanding. The tea was strong and steeped well before it got to me, perfect post-meal beverage. The dessert trio was fantastic, the best little sweet treat.Service - it was attentive, albeit slow. I’m sure this will get better, but even if it doesn’t, it won’t really matter. Don’t come here expecting to rush in and out. It’s a homemade experience. Come patient and hungry, leave happy and full.You’re welcome.
