This place feels lovely odd. It’s a Polish-Mexican restaurant, but inside it looks very French. It is very small so I would recommend to book beforehand. The food menu is not as big as the drinks menu, so it’s ideal if you are going to drink alcohol. Both these dishes were delicious

Visited L’Autre after a long anticipated wait - and it did not disappoint! There was a great array of Polish and Mexican favourites on the menu and the pierogi was absolutely delicious. There was also a great choice of different flavours of vodka. Highly recommend a visit, I will definitely be back!

I had never tried Polish food before until my friend told me about this restaurant. I must say, I didn't regret it, delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and the staff always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it to those who like to try different food.

Flavourful vodka, nice wine. Food is pretty poor. Expensive. But fun place to sit outside and watch the world go by. Service is friendly.

Polish/Mexican... sparks your interest? In the midst of Shepherd Market I spotted this little gem with a board outside showing home made pierogi’s! Being a keen dumpling eater, I decided this will be our first true post lock down dining experience.... and I’m really glad I did!A wonderful vibe with a stocked out bar, Mexican decor, 3 of us went for a charcuterie platter to share, a duck pate each and for mains we went for mixed pierogi’s.The highlight for me was definitely the pierogi’s, the pork and sauerkraut mushroom ones being so unique and tasty accompanied by the flavourful beetroot soup it was a whole taste experience on my plate. The desserts are home made and polish specialities - highly recommend if you have any space after the incredible food! I went for freshly made hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream.A nice little addition and pleasant surprise was how much we enjoyed the alcohol - never having tried it before I can now safely say the polish do vodka very well - having savoured 2 spiced honey vodka shots and 1 cherry vodka shot with no mixers even needed, I loved it!

Fantastic place with a really atmospheric decor, friendly staff and home like food. That is if you are looking for a polish cuisine. The Mexican part of it is a distant history (back to 1970’s) and a few accents on a menu, i. e. Nachos. Nevertheless, good place for a couple or a small group to enjoy this little gem! Also, independent, not a chain, so definitely need a support to stay there for longer!

We stumbled upon this place and could tell by the magnificent aroma of garlic and goodness that we had to try it.It's very small, only about 12 2-person tables upstairs with another 8 or so downstairs. The bartender along with 1 server and the owner were the only employees, but the small setting was intimate and comfortable. It was cozy and welcoming inside. The food was delicious. The garlic mushroom starter (probably what we smelled while walking by) was one of the best dishes we've ever had in our travels. I had the pierogies which were great too but the borscht was to die for.My husband had the kielbasa and sauerkraut which was equally as wonderful. We'll most definitely be back.

If you often dream of Polish with an option for Mexican, this is a great match for you. Great location, great lighting, warm interior, outdoor seating on quiet street. Nice bar, whine, beer, cocktails. Food was great, pierogies so good. Pate excellent. Recommend.

Wonderful food and cozy atmosphere. Best enchiladas in London and best pierogis outside of Poland. Patricia provides great service too. Highly recommend.

Polish & Mexican rest is an eye catching me for a pub in London. Small cozy place with more Polish flavour rather than Mexican though. Expect Polish specialities as well as few Mexican dishes. Satisfying simple food that makes you bit guilty for calories consumed.Wild boar sausages with mashed potatoes, red cabbage and mushroom sauce was just delicious.A number of vodkas to choose from (try Zubrowka). First Growths empty bottles of older vintages as decoration suggest that fine Bordeaux can be found here as well.
