La Roche in City of London

Kind of an unpleasant experience. Service was quite slow, drink prices were extremely expensive and on top of everything they forgot to charge us for the drinks, resulting in us being called back in front of lots of people upon leaving which made us feel awful. Food was “ok’ish” but nothing special. 2/10. Wouldn’t recommend

Beautiful cafe ,I went for breakfast there,it was so delicious.staff was so friendly!they have a good variety of cakes .The display was so pretty I will recommend everyone to visit this place and am pretty sure that you will come again here

We went to La Roche on a Saturday night and was lucky enough to get a table as a walk in.The menu was a little limited but had a little something to cater for most.The waitress was polite but could feel tension between staff members. A few meals was delivered to wrong tables but luckily ours was fine.The food itself was a mixed bag. The burger was home made and was lovely. The chicken and wedges was what I expect from a cheap supermarket bag not a restaurant.My partner had the mixed grill, the rice was amazing but the meat itself was dry and not even on par to a cheap local take away.

We love this little cafe, it does cakes and tarts and yummy stuff. Always friendly staff and very relaxed.

The service team was a bit helpless for the few customers inside. They mixed up our orders and we weren’t satisfied with the food.The avocado smash had a awful cheap chili sauce all over… the coffee was not too good as well.The juices were ok, but also mixed up with what we ordered… so you better make sure to check if you get what you ordered. ;-)During covid times I would expect the waiters to wear masks. Not here.On the other hand the door was opened all the time and it was super cold …The music was great though and the staff was very friendly!

Went there with my sister and a friend late afternoon. Food was very tasty. I had the falafel burger with skin on chips. The hosts were very friendly and efficient. Little interruption during our meal. Definitely would go back again. Great job!

Our food took 45 minutes to come out, and then one of the dishes was wrong... it then took a further 15/20mins for the correct meal to come out (despite other diners who had ordered the same meal receiving theirs)The waitress brought an extra glass of apple juice as a sorry- no refund/partial refund offered. The apple juice was a nice gesture but not really sufficient for the inconvenience caused.

Stopped for Coffee & Cake.Wonderful friendly service.Brilliant selection of cakes.We had a family member join us whilst we were there and they very quickly helped us move to a larger table.Will be back for more cake.

I had the vegetarian full breakfast that comes with eggs, hash browns, beans and toast. The black coffee was amazing, I love it when my coffee is fresh and strong and it was exactly that!
