Oh my god I love this place. Such wonderful staff and god the wine was sincredible. Few better places in terms of vibe and decor. Just hope to be able to dine downstairs one day.

So happy to have discovered this place thanks to my dear friend. Great atmosphere, lovely wine and people. I will go back!

Walked by last night so went in on the off chance they had a free table. Fortunately for us they did - it was outstanding. Most of the starters come in two sizes so we shared a couple small ones. Even these were huge - plenty of various charcuterie and a home made pate. The main courses were excellent; Toulouse sausages and Bouef Bourguignon cooked to perfection and in very generous servings. I look forward to returning soon.

It's a place my friend enjoys, so I indulge him. Extensive wine menu. Loyal following. Bit eccentric looking. No form of social distancing. You're basically sitting on top of one another. An experience!

Stumbled across this little place seeing a sandwich board offering celeriac soup and a fish cassoulet. We were going to see The Mousetrap and this was perfect for an early sup. Really quirky and fun place. Pascal the manager was a great personality, in fact, all the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely drop by here again.

Great wine bar with a very rustic and charming atmosphere. Very knowledgeable French staff that recommended wines to our taste, allowing samples. Huge selection to choose from either by the bottle or glass. Wonderful cheese platter with a good variety. Highly Recommend.

Very strange experience at this restaurant. I went in to book a table for lunch and the waitresses could not have been nicer. Booked a table for the next day, returned at the appointed time and was told that the restaurant was actually next door and downstairs! A very helpful waiter took us there and then an older man, who appeared to be the maître 'd, said we couldn't possibly have a booking as it was a Members Only Club! He was incredibly rude, probably the rudest restaurant worker I have ever encountered and he made it clear we were not welcome. One of the more pleasant ladies from the day before appeared and did explain that this had been a misunderstanding and that we could eat upstairs. But we decided to go elsewhere where you were not treated like an unwelcome intrusion! Most bizarre and highly unpleasant.

Lovely quaint treasure hidden from the bustling of Leicester square. We went for the sharing platter of an array of cheeses with fresh sliced baguette along with some delicious wine recommended by the staff, who were lovely. The vibe is relaxed and friendly and feels like sitting out on the cobbled streets of France sipping wine.

I used to frequent Le Beaujolais in the late 70's/early 80's this was my first visit since then. It is as fabulous now as it was then, typically French, great wine, food and atmosphere. A must place to visit.
