Le Chef Masgouf in City of London

Very nice traditional Iraqi food. Food quality 5 stars Stuff very nice and friendly 5 stars. Prices reasonable with the quality of food. Highly recommended.

Authentic Iraqi food, we tried the Maskouf fish and i highly recommend it, was very fresh and yummy. The meat kabsa was so good and the flavours were just perfect. The place is really nice as they offer you complementary vegetables, pickles and desserts, which is so nice of them. Also very friendly staff.

21 years since this branch is opened. This is the original Masgouf, I consider. Friendly staff, especially Rabee. Great seating outside, inside and downstairs. Great ambiance. Great food. They offered Muhalabia, Baqlawah and Dates for free. Reasonable prices.

One of the most delicious meals I've ever had in London! All of the pastries were utterly delicious. The food melted in the mouth. Really amazing.

Pleasantly surprised at my dinner experience on Saturday night. Restaurant wasn’t busy, service was good (complimentary dessert when we ordered tea), and the food was fresh and delicious! I liked how they gave us pickles/olives and a plate of fresh vegetables. Bathroom downstairs renovated and really clean. Outside space has a very Parisian bistro vibe. Walked passed the other Masgouf on Edgware road which seemed busy and not as elegant. Glad we went to this location.

Lovely restaurant in our local village. The service is impeccable and the host really goes out of his way to help.The meal was amazing, the meat grilled to perfection, the salads and rice fresh and delicious.The host gave us desserts on the house which were to die for. Highly recommended!

Today was the first time we came here. My wife and son ate the lamb kebab, and they both loved it. My wife said it was the best mince lamb on a skewer she has ever eaten. And she has eaten at many places. My 3 year old son ate twice as much as he normally would, which is his way of saying he liked it. My wife said the meat was full of flavour and tender. I ate rice top with piped and cooked pomegranate along with an aubergine stew. It was very nice with a good balance of spices. With fresh aubergine and a deep red curry sauce. I would prefer it to be more spicy, and the chilli sauce provided was OK. Next time I'll ask for some chillies. We also had a variety of baklava for dessert and a complimentary rice pudding for my son. The Iraqi tea at the end helped wash it down. I almost forgot. At the start they give a huge bowl of olives, pickled veg and salad veg to munch on. A great healthy start to the meal. Great service and will definitely be recommending the place to others.

The food is not that much and people are over exaggerated about it. The food is really drey and overpriced. Avoid long waiting list and go to any other places.
