I have mixed opinions on Le Pain Quotidien. I tried the avocado toast and I was amazed by the amount of avocado on it (most restaurants that charge similar prices for avocado toast basically give you half the amount of avocado that LPQ do), but I wasn’t too happy with the taste, especially due to the nuts! The mini brioches - the vegetable & hummus one was average and definitely not worth it, while the chicken one was pretty good. The chocolate in the hot chocolate tasted quite rich, but for £4 I’d expect at least a few marshmallows or a little whipped cream! All that for £20 but I’ve had way better breakfast for cheaper. If they improved upon the taste of their products, then quantity and price wouldn’t be an issuePretty presentation and packaging btw!

The breakfast was amazing... My fiance and I wanted a quick breakfast. And we got a quick and beautiful breakfast. My fiance cappuccino was too strong but the staff sorted it out straight away and made it even better. My sandwich, was one of the best sandwich I ever had. Thanks all

I visited this Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast on a weekday and the experience has been so so.I found a relatively quick and friendly service and the menu was well structured with lots of vegan options which is absolutely great! All good till here. However, the reason for a 3-star rating is that the food wasn’t good at all.I have recently been to a Le Pain Quotidien in Lausanne and ordered the same avocado toast and it tasted totally different, way better than the one I had this morning in this restaurant. The avocado toast I was given this morning tasted like poison. Bitter, with too much mustard cress. Perhaps they adapt the recipe based on the punter?!I would certainly give it another chance but I would definitely not recommend the avocado toast.

It was alright. The staff were good, the coffee was nice and the almond croissant was OK too, though not the best in the world. I liked the London fire theme to the place (it's right next to monument). The bill seemed fairly steep at 20 odd quid for a couple of croissants and two coffees.

The menu had a good variety of options and there were plenty of vegan pastries available that looked delicious. The baked eggs and mushroom toast we had was nice but not quite what we expected.Service was very poor and slow, the waitstaff did their best to avoid eye contact with everyone that was seated. And even with such poor service the bill still included the service charge, which i refused.

The location is convenient being right next to Monument station and it has a bit of indoor and some outdoor seating. The food is decent and people nice, but it was a bit slow to order, get drinks, and pay, and not quite what was expected for some if the flavours or meal portion sizes.

-Several vegan options-Delicious vegan breakfast (Mushroom, Tomatoe & Spiniach Tartine)-Nice atmosphere-Table service and take away areas are separate once you have your order-Poor service, had to get staff attention when ordering and wanting to pay the bill-Refused service charge because of poor service

Went for brunch with a friend, such delicious food and freshly cooked. Fresh juices were excellent too. Staff were kind and attentive.

This coffee shop has great facilities, decent coffee and friendly staff, personally I would sit outside to admire the Monument and don't forget to view the Pudding Lane plaque which is opposite the Monument.
