Leon - The Strand in City of London

Really delicious and filling. Great price too. Loved the ginger ale, wowsers!

What has happened to the great Leon food that I used to rate! Ate at the Strand restaurant today. Had to wait ages for my food as they were understaffed. When the food came, it was tasteless & cold. I talked to the manager who was apologetic and offered replacement food but no way would I want to eat anything there again. Really gone downhill! Shame!

The irony of classing themselves as a fast food restaurant. Slowest service I've had in years, yet cold food given, and the dirtiest tables. Staff stood behind the counter laughing and joking, doing absolutely nothing.

Good food, you have to ask for a key to use the toilet. Liked the fact you could round up and donate to charity.

A bad experience, every time I go in.I work opposite and since they've changed the ordering system to a screen you repeatedly have to wait 10-15 minutes for even the simplest of orders. Twice I've had it where it didn't even go through and you just stand there for ages until they actually ask you what you ordered. Staff all standing around behind the counter just looking at the screens and scratching their heads.Po- faced manager is excessively rude (even to a child this morning!!) Constantly looks like she's just read a massive phone bill and last smiled circa 1997.They've tried to morph this into some sort of middle class Mcdonalds and it's failed miserably. A shame because the menu used to be far better. Blueberry porridge, & a lot of the best hotboxes now missing.A long term decline & they've lost a customer today as a result.

Poor; option to have your hot drink in a reusable cup, however although the picture on the order machine is of a Leon branded mug these are not available able - you have to bring your own. Strange cafe where you have to supply the crockery. Manager was very argumentative when I didn't have a cup to use.Wrap was near enough inedible.

I was not very impressed with Leon. The food was warm and the presentation was not good. Furthermore there was no option for breakfast on the menu as they don't serve breakfast on a Saturday.I was left with a chicken burger which was supposed to be chargilled. The chicken was not cooked properly and I actually feel sick.

I came in with quite a large order for a film shoot we were doing around the corner and despite the chef's and staff being very busy, due to it being peak breakfast time, I was met with the manager, Giuseppe, who was extremely friendly and professional, they helped me with my order and gave me his details for any help I may need with a big order in future. Excellent service, would highly recommend!

Used to eat lunch here most weekends - often both Saturday and Sunday - for years. The food was always of a good standard, prepared quickly, and tasted great to a hungry crew of guys who'd been hard at work for hours. It became a firm favourite with us.

Check your order!Two times I’ve gone now and both times my order was messed up. They left out a burger one time, and another they didn’t add any sauces like requested. The food is fairly good for fast food, although could be warmer. They just get so busy and don’t pay enough attention.
