Lido Chinese Restaurant in City of London

Highly recommend if you’re in Chinatown. It’s busy but not too busy which is great. Members of staff were very friendly, welcoming, attentive, and efficient! Our food came out very quick, it felt like within 10 minutes.If you’re looking to try a new dish, I’ll definitely say the spicy duck tongue. It’s really good at Lido.The pork pastry was much smaller than I’ve ever had and anticipated, it’s also got a different taste compared to what I’ve had before but everything was yummy.

We went here with a group of 10 for dim sum on a Sunday so the place was very packed. Food was served quickly and good service overall. Everything was tasty, we ordered far too much so left feeling a bit sick, we blamed it on the serving sizes being a bit more generous than we were expecting. Someone ordered congee, which was actually pretty good and the prawn dumplings were well seasoned.

Really good food and staff friendly. Extensive menu. Would come back again. Two of us inc a soft drink was £35pp. Really good value and great tasting food

I think this goes without saying that this was the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. We had a selection from appetisers to mains and shared plates. My favourites was the crispy duck pancakes, crispy fried beef and salt and pepper squid/fish.The service was well paced, friendly and the three of us had a fantastic reunion! Thanks so much!We ate so much more than we would have imagined and I would go back in a heartbeat!We rounded off our evening with a trip to a cool bar round the corner called Salvador & Amanda which I'm about to go and review now!...

Great service, good food.

This place is our go to resteraunt when going to China Town. The staff are welcoming and attentive. If you go in the winter months, try not to sit by the door, as it opens frequently and you get blasted by cold air.The food is great, and plenty of it too, so if you leave there hungry, there is something wrong.The toilets are upstairs, which are quite narrow, so be prepared for that.The bill is written in chinese/ mandarin, so not easy to tell if a service charge has already been included.Overall, it can be a bit expensive, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.Highly worth a visit.

Lido is located in China town central London, what I like about this restaurant is the service is super fast attentive quick and no need to book, super hungry late at night decided to treat myself.Extremely happy with the quick fast service quality food in and out within 30mins…. Lovely food. Very spacious, wide and tidy inside and the staff were very responsive, courteous and patient in taking our big order when we dined as a large group of friends.The waiting time was a little bit longer then we would've liked despite it not being rush hour but based on our collective feedback together, the flavours, spices, serving sizes and service was difficult to fault - we recommended the set options for multiple people in particular.

Excellent restaurant, everyone is so friendly (I think family owned) superb service and they always look after us, food great and prices very fair

Very great service with delicious food and even gave us some for free! Would recommend very much especially the Singapore fried rice.
