Lobby Lounge at Corinthia in City of London

The tea event was incredible quality and service. The chef tea, sandwiches, and deserts were all exquisite. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Truly a world class experience, and unique in its quality even for London.

Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon tea experience. The first time I went there was a few days ago with my friend and we ordered the traditional afternoon tea for two which is quite expensive but the service is great.Sandwiches were OK except the egg may one which was my favourite. Scones were simply fab! Desserts were yummy. They have plenty of halal options so we were very happy. We were served by Taylor Fisher who was one of the nicest hosts ever. Very friendly, respectful, and attentive.I requested for a take away box but there was a slight mix up with my box so I was invited today to have a couple of desserts and a cup of tea of my choice which was a fantastic makeup. I gotbto have fresh scones and a delicious cup of tea again.Was served by Taylor again who was absolutely brilliant and knows how to treat his guests with dignity and respect.There was another lady manager today who was very rude to me for no reason and kept looking down on me. Once I requested her for water and she was super unfriendly to me and gave me a negative vibe. Obviously I didn't like that but I just ignored her presence and if it was for her alone, I'd give this experience a minus 5 star however, Mr Taylor made it up with his niceness and professionalism which is why I give this a 5*.If it wasn't for either of these two members, I'd give a 4* because if the sandwiches and value for money.Overall, I am a happy customer and would definitely go again for their amazing tea selection 🤩❤

We have a tradition to go as a family to festive afternoon tea at the top London restaurants and last Christmas was Corinthia/Crystal Moon lounge turn. And it was amazing, easily in the top three we tried so far and probably best service received (and this include previous experiences at Ritz, Savoy and the likes)For once, the seats are in fact armchairs, extremely comfortable. The food and tea is served from separate trays, which means your table is not clogged up by what you waiting to eat - very smart idea.Sandwiches were traditional and very tasty and had to option to order as many as you wanted (which we gladly took)Scones were warm, soft and delicious, accompanied by very tasty organic jam and clotted cream.Cakes were again very,very good and you could order more.Tea had a very good selection, and it was filled before you could even realize you finished your teapot.And service, as mentioned was absolutely top, our waiter made us feel special, explained the food served and made the whole experience absolutely amazingWe liked it so much at Corinthia, that we decided to return last week for a mean at another restaurant in the hotelWell done!

Truly amazing. Every bite was outstanding. It is on the pricey side but well worth the experience of Afternoon Tea with extraordinarily friendly staff and elegant ambiance.

I've been to afternoon tea at the Crystal Moon Lounge more times than I should probably admit, including twice in the past month. The truth is I'm already looking for an excuse to go back again. Each time is a truly unique and memorable experience, the result of the consistent quality of the food and the outstanding service.The variety of teas ensures there is truly something for everyone and they are always served at the perfect strength and temperature. The sandwiches are expertly crafted bites of perfection; the scones are, in my opinion, the true stars of the show; and then just when you convince yourself that you can’t eat another bite, the dessert trolley shows up.The service is consistently warm and friendly. They are there to guide you to the perfect tea for the moment, striking the ideal balance of attentiveness and helpfulness with non-intrusiveness, ensuring you always have exactly what you need but never feel rushed.The consistency in quality and service is a testament to the dedication of the team – you see the same friendly faces time after time, always ensuring that your tea is elevated beyond a meal to a bespoke experience.Short summary: I spent 6 weeks reading reviews, comparing menus, looking at pictures, etc. before we decided to come to the Corinthia for afternoon tea the first time. Never experienced afternoon tea like it. Beautiful surroundings, exquisite food and such wonderful staff. Was a surprise for my mums 60th birthday and she loved every minute. Would highly recommend.

High class, great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food describes this place. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. The tea started with finger sandwiches which were flavorful and ea complimented the sandwiches eloquently. Then we were offered several types of pastries, cakes and scones all served by a wonderful staff. Overall, an excellent spot to stop by for your afternoon English tea experience.

Another year, another beautiful design.You will find professionals serving you with a great smile and attention to detail. The two-coloured set up and the decoration are well done. Tea and cake, selected and made to perfection. Social distancing measures taken seriously. Unfortunately didn’t have time for a full afternoon tea, but I would definitely recommend a visit to Corinthia’s tea room.
