Excellent high quality Italian restaurant. Fully worthy of its Michelin star. The food was beautifully prepared, very fresh and tasty. The wine list was a pleasure to browse with an excellent broad range of Italian wines. The service was good and the general buzz felt just right. Excellent!

Food was good, but i expected more innovation and a bit more care for some of the plates. We tried ravioli del plin: good and delicate. Pizzoccheri della Valtellina: good but too salty. Tagliata: very good, good quality meat! Faraona: completely without salt. As dessert we tried cannoli and we really like that. Wine was very good.

Locatelli is situated in Marylebone at 5 min walk from the Marble Arch tube station (Central line). The staff is gently and the services is amazing. The quality of the dishes is remarkable and the drinks list is impressive.Honest prices for a Michelin star restaurant.Outstanding experience!

The staff were attentive and polite throughout the dinner, however; the wait between the meals was quite long. The restaurant has a nice ambience, really chilled vibe. To begin the scallops were okay with a smoked yet sweet flavour. The 2nd course was lobster pasta, the tomato sauce was weak and flavourless with tiny lobster pieces (not worth the price) but the pasta was cooked perfectly and saved the dish. My partner had the mushroom pasta which was average and of course very mushroomy! It was not the kind of flavours that we would expect from a Michelin star restaurant depsite it being authentically Italian. The third course was tasty, the meat was cooked how I requested and I enjoyed this the most. The black cabbage as a side dish was a little salty. For dessert the special was a coffee cake which was rich and nice, the chocolate selection was lovely and not too sickly sweet. The complimentary amaretto almond biscuits were divine and they should make this into a dessert with some ice cream! So GOOD! The port went well with the meal. Overall we spent over £200 and it wasn't worth it for the quality of food, I wouldnt return but enjoyed visiting once.

It wasn't that bad. Just that they don't have a set menu, tasting menu and the ambience didn't feel lush. Even I don't feel enthusiastic writing a review about this restaurant.BUTStaff service was amazing, the food preparation was paced well and the food itself were of big portions.I was probably rather bored. Perhaps because I had prepared so much beforehand what to order that I was a little too excited about it. Their menu on their website wasn't even visually appealing to begin with - just a bunch of letters. So for antipasti, I had 'creamed salted cod, mixed beans, pork belly and cicerchia puree.' I was expecting an actual pork belly of the same measurement as in the photo but just thicker, with layers of skin, fat and meat, not a paper-thin bacon leaf. So misleading.Their pasta, though, was an absolute heaven. So I had 'linguine with Cornish lobster, tomato, garlic and sweet chilli.' ICYMI, that seemingly empty red orange plate was the pasta but I forgot to take a photo - it was that good the smell had me really tempted! Since it wasn't a main, which you're supposed to add £5, I'm guessing that was the reason why there were only lobster 'bits' rather than actual lobster meat, perhaps a tail and/or claw. For mains, I had roasted sea bream and bagna cauda. You can have the actual fish or have it deboned as in the photos. I didn't get to finish it because of the size but the complex flavours were an explosion in my mouth. I was expecting a saucer of bagna cauda on the side but I guess a drizzle on the plate was already enough. For dessert, I was already weighing on having tiramisu or pistachio soufflé but on their separate truffle menu, their zabaione got me convinced to try and understand how fundamental each flake of white truffle was. The cute little petit fours in the background were taken home in an equally cute, signature LL box.As I was sat facing the wall, for a suggestion, Giorgio should make his walls Instagram-friendly. And arriving at opening time, I must say, it didn't take long enough to fill the restaurant, considering I was really avoiding the suffocating crowd.

An amazing dining experience that does cost a lot, but I feel it is worth it. Fantastic food, warm and professional service, this is somewhere that we will return to when we have another very special occasion.

·

Great experience. Attention to the customer and very good quality. Quite classic Italian cuisine with a modern touch. Excellent wine list with support of a very knowledgeable sommelier.

·

A beautiful venue with a buzzing atmosphere. We started with breads, olive oil and grissini which were delicious. The pasta dishes were tasty but the Carne course (we had steak) was incredible.

Delicious food, good service, and a calm, quiet atmosphere. Vegetarian options available. Really enjoyed our lunch here!
