Good dim sum spot. Really enjoyed the steamed Chinese sausage, mushroom and chicken rice. The other dim sum dishes were tasty although the fried radish cake could have been better. The food comes from next door, Gerard’s Corner so it actually might make sense to just go there since the food would come out faster and hotter.

had the roast duck and chow mein. both dishes were very well flavoured and the quality justified the high prices of central London. I wasn't keen on the interior setup. felt like a overly cramped carpeted living room. This is a good place to eat if you want a quick and flavoursome bite and don't really care about the atmosphere

This is my go-to restaurant for Dim Sum in China town. There's plenty of seating with larger tables for groups, and a few booths. The food is consistantly good, served quickly and hot. Fairly priced.

·

Poor service. I waited nearly 30 mins to get my order taken then it came out in parts (no starter ordered). Check your receipt too! A miscalc seemed all too convenient. Food tasted really good.

When entering we were told we had to pay as we ordered . So paid before we ate.Took ages to order. In fact 3 tables who were in before us walked out.We had ordered starters. 1st my husband's main course came out which was meant to be a sizzle dish. No sizzle. Then my starter. Then my noodles and husband's rice. Both very cold and had to be sent back. Then rest of food. You order starters to eat before main course not to have it come out in bits and pieces.Table behind us has had ordered first and had still not received anything when we had finished even though 3 other tabl4s who came in after had received food. The place was so short staffed they couldn't cope but still kept taking customers.Food tasted so so when did finally arrive.Would not recommend

chinatown restaurant is a place I came across while visiting london and was almost impressed. When you first enter inside, you will be greeted with the smiling face and kindness of the staff. My wife and I went with my child and the food and desserts we ate were quite nice. Thank you to all the staff for making this such a beautiful day.

We ate here not having read any reviews of the restaurant and were very pleased with our meal and service too. Was surprised to read some of these reviews where they said they had to pay up front or had rude service. We had the fried seaweed and fried squid to as appetizers. Our main dishes were the crispy duck with braised vegetables and sizzling beef with vegetables and a side of morning glory. Everything tasted great and the service was very friendly too. Not sure if some of these other reviews are for a different restaurant but never noticed the waiters being rude to anyone. Give it a try if you’re in Chinatown.

When I was looking for the restaurant on Google Map, I realised that most pictures uploaded by users are not this restaurant, people might this this page is for "all the restaurants in London Chinatown", but actually the Chinese name of this place has nothing to do with the English name.OK, let's talk about the food. Both crab and dim sum are good, the crab noodle has super huge portion, even people who are sitting across the room were shocked by it and asked waiter what I was eating, I packed 3 boxes when I finished meal.Price is about £15~20 per person.

They have a separate vegan menu which is really good - has many options however the service is really bad i had to wait about 1hr 30 min to wait just for the appetiser to come which was spring rolls and then food came 20 mins after that. Food overall was decent

Lovely place. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Additionally the food was delicious. 12 hungry people all went and we left fully satisfied. Family had the peking whole duck, which happily served 7 people.Chilli Beef was a favourite. And also the very cost effective vegetarian meal went down a treat. Would recommend
