Lord's Tavern in City of London

The wine selection wasn't amazing but it was well chilled. The food we had was lovely and highly recommended.

This is fantastic! The service is excellent, the space is super cool and the food delicious :) We had the: veggie samosas 4 kinda small yet tasty samosas with excellent dipping sauces; chicken ruby, really good chicken in a rich makhani sauce. Really good! And garlic naan with raita. All dee-lish we really enjoyed our lunch. Go!

Went for lunch, ordered a la carte. Steaks were done properly and served on mushrooms. Peppercorn sauce was very thin but OK. Nice Chips. The lamb shanks were tender and tasty. Dessert was a little disappointing- the apple and pear tart would be nicer hot. The toffee crunch is small but tasty, so don't share it! Service is good and attentive.

Very comfortable late evening pint or two outside this modern pub. Sheltered front seating area with heaters (ok, i know, heaters not very enviro friendly), Cask ales well kept. Friendly barman. Reasonably priced considering its prime position. Didn't eat but dining area looks comfortable. What's not to like, although i imagine its mega busy when the crickets on. Worth a visit.

Very quiet when I passed it recently, called in and had one pint. Was not enjoyable, no atmosphere. Might call back when there is a bit of sport on

VERY busy on match days with very loud cricket goers. The staff didn't seem prepared for a busy lunch time, and even though we booked ahead the speed of service was dismal. They also messed up our drinks order.The staff were all very apologetic, but I think there were not enough of them and management needs to consider having more people working on days that they must know will be busy.

Not a bad pub, somewhat lacking on the atmosphere front. Location is handy for me so do pop in from time to time

Very very disappointing Sunday lunch. We ordered a selection of roasts, fish n chips and a few starters, however were left incredibly disappointed. Everything was burnt, see pictures, specially the gnocchi. I couldn't believe you could burn gnocchi until we dined at the establishment.The service was non existent as well. Even though only 3 tables were occupied, food took over 45 mins to arrive. I guess they required more time to burn everything.The only rationale for getting more than one star, was the location. Nice venue by the cricket ground with good background 80s sing along music was their only saving graceAfter providing feedback to management , it was nonchantly rebuked. Unfortunately pictures don't lie and a plate of charred food is what remains ...

Great place for my covid jab. Great secure lining up process and security. Friendly reception and smooth check-in process. No long waits. Was given AZ by nice technician almost straight away and then waited in comfortable seat in waiting room for 10 minutes. Whole process lasted less than 30 minutes. Excellent service. I have had no issues with the vaccine.
