Great little pub hidden on Old Marylebone Rd. Starters were delicious especially the "Dirty Chips" topped up with pulled pork and pickles. The roast beef (rump) was slightly chewing but still good. Ribs was cooked perfectly as it fell off the bone easily and very tasty.

🚇 Edgware Road🍺 £5.10 Amstel❤️ Marylebone has an excellent choice of pubs to visit, this elegant backstreet pub is well worth a look..Marylebone has some of the busiest roads in London, the A40, A41 and A5 all run through this part of London. The noise, the hustle & bustle and the general sense of how hectic it is, is maybe enough to give you the urge to get away from it all. Well, if you do find yourself in such a situation and fancy a breather or just looking for a pub to get away from it all, the @lordwargrave is definitely the place for you. I visited here on a Saturday afternoon and received a warm welcome from the American member of staff behind the bar. The pub wasn’t overly busy with a few regulars in, one of which had a gorgeous British bulldog who was lapping up the attention. The atmosphere here was relaxed, the majority of punters were in the dining section at the far end of the pub and were tucking in to the American style smokehouse menu. The interior set up here is a long bar with the dining section close to an open kitchen with exposed brickwork and some industrial chic touches. There is a classy feel about the place but this boozer isn’t pretentious, this is a pub for all people and occasions..The Lord Wargrave is a striking pub offering a welcoming experience in beautiful surroundings. This is a pub that has a neighbourly feel and offers sumptuous American fayre from the in-house smoker. This is a place you can celebrate in a large group or like me have a lazy Saturday afternoon quaffing a beer and having a bit of time to reflect, either way The Lord Wargrave is for sure worth paying a visit..📊 Information correct on visiting 15/01/22

This truly is a hidden gem. Angelene was so attentive and really made our experience. Was incredibly surprised by the huge portions and the Sunday roast tasted amazing!! Picture attached is the beef Sunday Roast.Very surprised I have not seen this in any 'must eat blogs'. Will definitely be back later this year.

Absolutely loved our meal here. Limited menu on a Sunday as people seem to want a roast. We had the ribs, wings and chicken burgers and they were all excellent. Also had probably the best chips I've ever had - they were spectacular. The service was great and they even recommended a whisky to finish off the meal. I'd like more choice of real ale but that's about the only criticism I can offer.

We went here on the basis of other good reviews and were not disappointed.Buffalo wings were excellent - crispy outside and tender inside, and a buffalo sauce with just the right amounts of vinegar and cayenne. Spicy but not overwhelming. St Louis pork ribs were tender and the BBQ sauce accompanying excellent; my dining companion had the beef short ribs which looked fantastic and apparently tasted great too. Decent desserts if you’re into that sort of thing.Prices were reasonable for central London. Service was fine, things were busy but the food came out promptly. I would probably have preferred a more separate space for the restaurant area but given the size of the place that isn’t realistic.Very surprising to find first rate BBQ food in a pub but it absolutely is. I will be back to try out the rest of the menu.(Sadly no photos, because I ate all the food)

Excellent food in a wonderful pub atmosphere.Very unbecoming, normal looking pub with great pub vibes. Very relaxed inside. The food is glorious and unexpected in how good it is. Amazing bbq, everything was delicious.Highly recommend.

·

Nice neighborhood pub with friendly stuff and great food. Somebody wrote that the ribs were quite dry, but I think he wasn’t lucky like me. My British beef short rib was extra juice and delicious.

Wanted to try a pub in the neighbourhood & it did not disappoint!Ciders are decently priced, food is phenomenal. We got the chicken Sunday roast (pics) & mixed slaw salad & halloumi fries which were both great. Buffalo sauce with the halloumi fries might not be the best if you can’t handle the heat.I definitely recommend the pecan pie with banana caramel. Chocolate brownie was a massive portion but no ones complaining! (pics)I will be coming back again :)

·

Such a nice place, the food was amazing from start to end. Fair prices too and massive portions. Will come back for sure!

The food was great. Amazing tender meats with deep flavor. So many whiskeys. The staff is so charming and friendly. I really had a great time here
