Lowndes Bar & Kitchen in City of London

This was my second time here having first come here earlier this month. We wanted to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the food and service did not disappoint. We all had a wonderful dinner. Thank you for the food, service and small touches. Will be back

As of Christmas night, all the restaurants were closed except for this one. I absolutely loved the place. The food is spot on. The staff is very friendly and be sure that they can take care of you. Note that this is was the Christmas menu and this food would not be on the regular menu, yet I can honestly say that they’re texture of the food is spot on either way. My mother had the “Middle Eastern “ menu and she said that all was perfect! We were taken care by Sam, he was so lovely and was so kind and generous!On this night of Christmas, I decided to go with the Christmas menu options and these were what I chose to have. Starter: “Pan Fried Scallops”, Main course: “Herb Crusted Lamp Rump”, Dessert: “ Dark Chocolate Fondant”.The starter was absolutely delicious! I loved it. The beef with the scallops really took my mouth by surprise and it so mouth flavorful! Taste 5/5, Presentation 5/5.The main course was really good. The lamb was so soft and so tender it literally melted in my mouth like butter. The potato purée was amazing. The only one suggestion I would have that is that the temperature of the lamb could be cooked as it requested. Yet it tasted delicious. Taste 4/5, Presentation 5/5.The dessert was so amazingly delicious that it made me go for more and more. I loved every single bit of it. Ugh it was divine. taste 5/5, Presentation 5:5.As for the suggestions:- I would definitely recommended that “Herb Crusted Lamb” be worded differently. I was expected that there to be herb curst around the lamb but there was none. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it every much but just maybe word the dishes correctly.

Amazing quality of food and great Prosecco. We have steak, salmon, soup and wild boar ravioli, all exquisite. The service guys were very attentive and very respectful when approaching our table. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and quality of food. You Would expect for a Central London establishment to be expensive just because of the location but no, this place is fantastic in price. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Oh and the ambiance was brilliant, no faults at all. Marvellous place.

I’ve seated outside with notifying the waitress, I’ve finished a Cigar waiting for them to take an order, I’ve waved and called for the waitress several times but no response or someone to take my order. Looking at the menu it’s overpriced too. I’ve left after 37 minutes.

It was a really nice evening at Lowndes Bar! Cosy atmosphere, excellent meals and sparkling drinks! 5* Service! Will visit again, the best place for meeting with friends!

The place is okay, thought the food would have been better. The customer service was basic and poor than expected as such we removed our service charge

We went for lunch and had a very warm welcome by Franziska our waitress with excellent service. The food was delicous , the ambiance relaxing and we were given all the time we needed between courses. Great choice and value. The Cheese soufflé divine , fish pie was delicious along with the lemon tart. Will be recommending to friends

Friday night meal and the restaurant was staffed by friendly waitresses who knew the menu and specials well. Our meals where cooled perfectly and tasted divine. Top tip: Go Monday - Thursday with a tastecard and get 50% off!

Microwaved rice, dry ciabatta, beef was plain dull. No seasoning. Beer was flat, extremely poor service- took an hour for drinks, no knives or forks- had to ask, no napkins- had to ask.Won't be back
