Ma La Sichuan in City of London

Incredible and authentic food with great prices. My sister is a regular here, so when she took me for lunch they treated us like family. It was such a lovely experience, can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items.

Very nice staff members who were very welcoming and provided nice service and subtle food for us. But I was quite surprised that most of them are Cantonese while they named it as Sichuan and the food was not authentic Sichuan food which were just cooked by 豆瓣酱 mostly and quite salty. Overall the automosphere is nice and cozy which is a good place for the dinner with friends. Food is cheap too in the center of London.

Great selection, tasty and friendly service. There is an array of options on the menu. The highlights for me are the dim sum platter appetiser, the wonton soup and the dry fried fine beans. It is helpful that some of the menu items are in bold. Overall the service was good and there was a nice ambiance too.

The food here is indeed authentic Sichuan food. Ordered Sichuan boiled sliced pork, La zi chicken and duck spring roll and we love them all. Of course not forgetting the attentive service here too!

Excellent food, amazing service and super friendly staff. The food was nice and spicy! All the Veg options were available and they made special effort to remove egg in the usual items like fried rice just to accommodate me! Will definitely be back again soon!

Warm ambience and yummy food. Staff are extremely cordial, extra helpful and my kids loved them.My wife being 'unreasonably' foodie, we ordered enough. Loved both soups (Hot & sour and Wonton), Sichuan Chicken, Pork belly, lotus root, shredded chicken egg noodles and fried rice. But I melted with the soft shelled crabs. That one was so yummy, we ordered second time.A perfect Chinese restaurant with regional flavour and family friendly.

Absolutely amazing food. Ordered several appetizers to try as much as we could. Dumplings were all packed with so much flavor. Crispy salt and pepper soft shell and calamari were so light but full of flavor. The crispy duck was the perfect ending; You will not be able to stop eating!

First time in Ma la Sichuan with my friend. Food was amazing and excellent service. Very friendly staff and reasonable price. Definitely will be back and would recommend.

We’ve eaten here several times now and are always impressed. Lovely food, lovely staff. I particularly love the fish fragrant aubergine and the fragrant chilli chicken (but everything I’ve tried has been great!)

Had an amazing date meal! Service was outstanding and food was delicious! We had dim sum platter and vegetable spring rolls. Sweet and sour chicken was soooo good! Would recommend who’s place with my heart.
