Excellent meal, once again, from our go-to Chinese restaurant in East London. Tasty cooking. Helpful friendly service. They could do with getting together a more interesting beer selection, though.

Don't judge a book by this cover. The food here was really exceptional, a great value, and the service was spot on. In fact value for money, you the diner come out ahead!

Really friendly and welcoming considering we turned up out of the blue with 11 people and no reservation! They gave us the most amazing round table so we could all talk to each other and the food was excellent! 100% would recommend!

Loved the crispy squid, dumplings, cashew chicken and pork belly. Feel like some of the Szechuan dishes could have been spicier.

Not value for money in my opinion. I ordered three dishes using Uber Eats - Chicken Curry, Smoked Pork Rib and Egg Fried Rice. As you can see from the photograph, the chicken curry was at least half potato (unheard of in a 'chinese' curry) and clearly only there to make up for the lack of chicken and/or sauce. The Smoked Rib (which was also described as a meat main and cost £11 80) was mainly vegetables in a black bean sauce. What little Rib there was was mostly bones; A real disappointment! I won't be ordering from them again and suggest you don't bother either! The rice was OK

• overall: good food + good price + good vibes (laid back & comfy interior; nothing like those cramped noisy restaurants in chinatown). will 100% come back to try more dishes, especially their spicy ones• mao cai (冒菜) 🌶 intro: you can pick up to 6 ingredients which is then cooked/ stewed in a spicy soup, we chose squid (魷魚), potato (土豆), lotus (藕), bamboo shoots (笋片), sweet potato vermicelli (紅薯粉), white tofu (白豆腐)• 🥢 verdict: spice level is just right (maybe just a tiny bit spicier next time), enough to feel a bit of numbness from the sichuan peppercorns, but still able to eat without burning our tongues. the ingredients soaked up all the sauce 🤤• we shared one mao cai between 2 with 2 bowls of steam rice (best pairing) & were stuffed yet satisfied

Chinese food just as you need simplified and also some amazing flavoursome dishes on the menu not to be missed , the service is amazing staff are welcoming and very pleasant upon arrivalThis is amazing authentic flavour and great value for money , if you are a visitor in London and you require a quiet calming spot to eat come here also located in beating heart ❤️of city centreFor sure going to visit again for a lovely night time dinner 🍽 thank you guys !

I haven't had real Sichuan food in London for long long time. This was just amazing. Great dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, amazing dumplings in chilli oil, best fried beans ever.Yes, the people there could have been more passionate about their job, it the Chinese standard of customer service but they were not rude or anything.Decor meh, prices very London like but honestly I came for food and that deserves 5/5.

This is a fantastic place for Chinese food lovers. We had a Christmas party at this venue and they pulled all stops to make it memorable for us.Venue is easily accessible from tube stations, downstairs party hall is ideal for groups. Food wise, we tried AMPLE of dishes, from mouthwatering chicken to boiled fish to tofu dishes, beans, pork. Every single item was top notch, sumptuous and was thoroughly enjoyed. Great hosts to say the least.
