My daughter took me here as part of my birthday treat. We sat outside on the rooftop (March) overlooking St Paul's Cathedral. The views were stunning on a clear chilly evening, though the electric patio heaters and blankets offered, kept us warm. The food and ambience were equally brilliant, though the service wasn't up to scratch, Turns out the waiter was new at the role. Certainly didn't dampen our experieince.

We booked here for my birthday drinks earlier in the week. We were incredibly disappointed from the moment we walked in. A very unwelcoming greeting from security downstairs, and we were spoken to in a very condescending manner from security upstairs when taking some photos of the view (which we paid a £10 each entry fee for) Left as soon as we could to enjoy the night elsewhere.

Top notch bar in a fantastic location across from St Paul’s Cathedral. The old meets the new. The bar is so well presented and the food and cocktails together with high end spirits is amazing. You will love the ambience and will not want to leave. Enjoy!

We've had lots of cream teas, some good, some not so good. Being based in Mayfair, we had high hopes for the Washington afternoon champagne tea, which we'd ordered through Virgin Experience Days. The dining room was clean but a little tired and there was no air con, which was a problem on a sweltering July afternoon. However, the staff, all of whom were very friendly and attentive, apologised and spent much of the time directing fans at hot diners. Espressos were excellent and kept coming without any quibbles. The assam tea, which we selected from a modest tea menu, was also delicious. Sandwiches were nicely filled and the bread was soft and fresh (the mini smoked salmon bagels were a highlight). The very attractive cake selection tasted as good as it looked, although some of the items got a little sweaty in the heat and should probably have been brought out after the sandwiches or better yet more seasonal options considered. While this might not represent the finest dining in Mayfair, we found the whole experience - chipped, mismatched crockery and all - very appealing, a bit like an afternoon tea with a crazy old aunt.

A place I often visit. Staff is amazing and service is great. The Italian guy at the bar is simply a joy to talk with and his knowledge is incredible

Great place for drinks and dinner. Fantastic views from the terrace. Don't be afraid of the outdoor seating if it is chilly, they have heaters out there. Plan for extra time to get some great photos of the cathedral.

This place is great. Friendly staff, great vibe, great food and an awesome view over London. What more do you want on a Friday afternoon? - or any afternoon, evening or night for that matter!!

No toilet facilities, my husband had to leave the restaurant to find facilities elsewhere, 20minutes later I cancelled the main course and paid the bill. No apologies or discounts were offered. Highly disappointed.
