Nice old pub in New Street next to Devonshire Square, very traditional dark wood and cosy interior. Handy for Liverpool Street station and in a quiet road with no through traffic, road only used for access to police station behind the pub so no fumes in the street. It has an upstairs dining room but I haven’t been upstairs to see it.

Legendary City pub. Crowded at first but thinned out towards 7. Always great to stand outside. Heaters provided. Good selection of Ales and draught. Lots of gin too.

Great little pub, attentive friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, bar snacks could have few more choices but would recommend for drinks.
