As a last minute booking to the start of our weekend in London, the Mango Tree was a great choice. My wife and I love Thai food, and having visited Thailand, we've experienced the food as it should be. Mango Tree did not disappoint. We had the Luxury Set Menu, which gave us a lovely combination of dishes, and every one was delicious. Well worth the, very reasonable, price.Highly recommended, we will definitely visit again next time we're in London.

The food was amazing! However, the manager that was managing today was very rude. Firstly, my colleague went to the reception to have her coat hanged. The manager just grabbed the coat out of her body while she was removing it halfway through. The manager starts telling off and embarrasing her staff in front of us.Secondly, my colleague tried ordering starter menu but was denied of her order. He said that my colleague cannot order from starter menu since everyone was ordering from the main menu.Thirdly, after we ordered food from the menu, he had just grabbed the menu out of our hand and it was very rude.Lastly, he doesn't know what service truly is. He acted like mango tree was just a cheap restaurant. It felt like he wanted people just to order their food, eat it fast, then go home. What a truly terrible experience my colleagues and I had.Even the food was amazing, I don't think I will be coming back.

Been to Mango tree twice now. Once a few years ago (A la carte) and again in Feb 2022 on valentines day (Set menu).Service: Friendly - but poor communication (2/5). I informed the waiter of my coconut allergy which prevented me from having the soup starter, he proceeded to recommend an alternative (which also had coconut) in it. Thankfully we spotted this before I ate it.Food: Nice presentation (3/5), but average taste and tiny portions. Didn't feel like money well spent, a few better comparable Thai restaurants in London.Location and Ambience (4/5): Nice location in Belgravia near Victoria, some side-street parking but a lot of it is for Diplomats only / only available after 10pm. Vibe inside the restaurant was decent and they kept restaurant open slightly after closing hours to allow people to finish their dates.

Booked here for a birthday lunch and was not disappointed, the staff were extremely friendly and eager to please, the cocktails were great and the food was delicious, reasonably priced given the location and quality of the food too. Great options for both veg and non veg, definitely coming back!

Really nice Thai meal here. Plenty of attentive staff. We had Pad Thai and a Beef dish (can’t remember the name!) and satay and spring roll starters. All were really tasty. Wine reasonably priced for the area (close to the back wall of Buckingham Palace)

We were warmly greeted to a clean but clinical restaurant, with a fairly pleasant atmosphere and sat down. I'd estimate there were about 15% covers in the restaurant at this point. The staff overall were very welcoming, attentive, and polite. The food was okay; popcorn shrimp in particular was nice for a starter, as were the mains. What let The Mango Tree right down was the value for money. While I'm no stranger to spending £80 or more on 2 mains & 2 starters with no alcoholic beverages, I do not believe the quality/quantity of the food warranted the bill (£81). I'd raise my eyebrows if it were anything more than £60.While there wasn't anything particularly bad about this restaurant, the clear overpricing will prohibit me from visiting in the future.

We had a really lovely meal here. The staff were friendly and atmosphere was excellent. I had the Taramind Duck on a bed of pak choi, it was amazing.

5* to the food! All the food we ordered was exceptional! Special mention of the tom yu. Soup and green curry. As far as service goes it was evident they were struggling. However the only complaints we'd have is that even after specifying no mushrooms in the veg food there were mushrooms in all the dishes. Secondly, the salad arrived when we were finished with our main course and was brought out by someone who looked like a chef with a very angry look. Not out fault buddy!Definitely going back for the food but we hope service is sorted soon. All the best guys!
