This was poor from the start. We rushed through London traffic to attend and wish we hadn't. We had prawn cocktails to start which were £14 each. Tiny size and nothing but a few prawns and shredded old lettuce. We then thought we would try some cocktails . Majito x2. Come with large blocks of ice, mint not crushed and little sugar. I asked the waiter " have you run out of crushed ice" like it says in the description. Only to be told we have never ever had crushed ice and he walked off!Our mains come . 1 Sirloin steak and one duck salad. The steak was average but came with nothing but a small pot of sauce. Prepare chips £6.50 and pre prepared onion rings also £6.50."The duck salad" was duck leg on a bed of mash and red cabbage. Nothing like a salad here! I asked the waiter after the brought our espresso martini's over , "could we have a little more sauce "jue" please". He went to ask and come to back to state "sorry no, it's needed for the other ducks"!!!!Disappointing and loving off the name. I doubt marco has been there in a VERY long time. Don't waste your time and money!! Total price for 2 course meal and two shocking cocktails . £170

We visited on Sunday the day before valentine's and had a fantastic time fine dining experience. Luckily the hotel we stayed in was within walking distance so we didn't have to travel far.It was very warm inside so don't layer up like I did 😂. We paid for the virgin experience so had the set menu which we could order starter, mains and deserts from. For starters we had the ham hock and kipper pate. They were both fantastic. For mains we had the duck and beef and for desert we both had the apple crumble. My first time in a fine dining experience, as most of my reviews are for takeaways haha. But this is something I would definitely do again.

After reading some reviews I wasn’t expecting too much, however, on arrival we were met with very friendly staff, the menu was explained fully with the supplements, the food was absolutely stunning, I think £6.50 is quite pricey for broccoli, however, we had a free 3 course dinner voucher so was happy to pay it. The house champagne was lovely as well. Wasn’t bitter in any way.

30yr Engagement Anniversary 14/02/2022We had a stunning evening at the restaurant, Food was some of the best we have had, from the 1st point of contact to the final step out the door. 1st class. Our server (Darvin) was on point with everything we asked, from Wine selection to food choices. Our glasses were never dry, contact through the evening was pleasant and informative. If you want a fantastic experience I would 100% recommend. 5*****Thanks Martin & Amanda🥂

If you can change your voucher to an alternative restaurant then DO IT.Weird munipulitive behaviour on arrival from both the door man and the waiter about going for the 'al la carte' menu gave me reason to look into the difference a little deeper. I'm glad I did. Although the manager, who was sly and underhand, kept telling us to go for the 'Al la carte' choice in a hushed voice and that he knew best but couldn't say it out loud because big brother were watching - I am so glad we didn't, the 'al la carte' menu was a total rip off. I feel so sorry for the people who hadn't realised what was going on until they received their bill :(To add insult to injury my beef stroganoff arrived with stone cold mash and our side order of broccoli (£6.50) was well past its best!I have a serious allergy to egg- the allergen menu states no egg in the prawn cocktail but when I ordered I was told by our waiter it contained egg. Please order with caution 😭This restaurant has nothing relating to Marco Pierre White other than a few cookbooks on show as you enter.

My partner and I had Sunday Lunch here today after receiving a Daily Mail gift voucher from my grandparents for Christmas. I was concerned after reading the reviews prior to our visit but was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We were greeted politely upon arrival and shown to our table. The quality of the cocktails and the food was excellent. Waitress was very friendly. Would happily recommend to friends and will certainly return myself in the future.

Not value for money. Way overpriced £13 for sm container of chips for example. Steak £34.00 and chewy. Eggs overcooked. Starter main dessert with bottle of wine £34.00 total bill £206!!! for mediocre food. Would never recommend as far better restaurants around. Your paying for the Marco Polo White name and food let's him down

Having read some of the previous reviews, I was almost dreading using our Virgin voucher in here. Really had no need to worry - very warmly greeted at the front desk, and treated respectfully by the other three staff we dealt with during our visit. As per previous reviews, yes they do hurry through the menu options. However, if you've read your email, or just look at the menu, it's not rocket science to understand. You have a choice of one cocktail from the menu, one starter, one main and one dessert. If you want a different/larger steak then you pay extra - as stated on the menu. If you want sides then you pay extra - as stated on the menu. I do agree with previous comments that £6.50 (or any of the other side dishes) for chips is a lot to pay - my partner ordered these, and whilst they were nice they are definitely overpriced.Alternatively, order the duck which comes with 'free' creamed potatoes and red cabbage........ I did, it was lovely.I've also read reviews complaining about portion-size. There was definitely nothing 'small' about ours - see the pictures. The cocktails were superb - I ordered a second cocktail; my partner fries, two small Peroni beers between us and a large table water, paying just over an additional £40 on top of the £55 voucher.Hopefully, anyone visiting will receive the experience we enjoyed.

Very nice restaurant with obviously steak taking centre stage on the menu. The steak choices are amazing with a great selection from £30 to over a £100. Nice cocktails on arrival and a lovely 3 course menu to choose from. Service is very good with very professional, friendly and efficient servers. Recommend a visit.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! I was given the Virgin Vouchers (for two) as a birthday gift to dine exclusively at the London Steak House. However, my Mum and I were thoroughly disappointed with the London Steak House - it was the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The food was below average, the staff were highly unwelcoming, and extremely rude, they didn’t smile, super unfriendly and were constantly sniggering at us. We were treated very differently from OTHER customers who were not using the set menu. I felt cheated of an enjoyable restaurant experience, which I was looking forward to for the past 18 months. The waiter did NOT explain what was and what was NOT covered in the vouchers. The welcoming drinks (cocktails) cranberry and passion fruit did NOT contain any alcohol (which was rather disappointing). We were hoping that the food would be the saviour of the whole experience but lo and behold, the prawn cocktail tasted disgusting and was very salty, it came with bread that looked and tasted like Lidl's own bread, the steak and sticky toffee pudding were very dry. The restaurant itself is shabby, they have a dress code, which we adhered to - however, other customers were in jeans and trainers. We were shocked to have received a bill of over £130 (original bill was £186 without voucher). The London Steak House is a big con.I am very disappointed and upset because I was looking forward to enjoying my gift, I was NOT expecting to SPEND £130!
