Fresh tasty food. Wonton soup wasn't great, otherwise good food. Nice service and restaurant too.

The only thing I LOVED from the menu was the black pepper lamb (went real well with egg fried rice) totally a 5/5, but the rest of the food wasn’t even nearly as good.The squid and the bean curd starters were both bland - I’m not sure if that’s the authentic way of making it, but if you’re looking for flavour please avoid ordering it. The crispy spring rolls and hot snd sour (veg) soup were alright but nothing special.

Good atmosphere, but food is average. Food tasted like overpriced take away Chinese food. Duck dish was too salty. I am sorry but nothing special about food and rather disappointing.

Been going there for years and the last few orders i made there wasn’t up to their usual standard and quite disappointing to be honest. The manager doesn’t seem to have time to listen, instead he talks nonstop.

Food was good and service was excellent. Menu is not as extensive as other Chinese restaurants but this is a good thing ! I'm giving 4 stars because the food is the same 'style' as any Chinese restaurant, so nothing new to "write home about". Would definitely visit again though.

First restaurant I’ve ever been to with my husband as a newlyweds. We visited because some of the menu is halal. So big thanks to Jimmy choo! It was delicious. My husband and I visited again for the duck. He wished for Peking duck, but it wasn’t on the menu quite as he expected (since he is Chinese). But it was delicious. The curry and shrimp and service is great. I visited again as another milestone in my life was leaving the UK for good. And we chose Maximini again. Food is just delicious and environment is quiet. Food is brought out quickly and however you want it, whether in intervals. It’s worth visiting for sure. But for me it’s also sentimental. Also, it’s tucked away and just opposite Diana princess memorial park.

Hidden gem just walking distance away from Hyde Park. Really hits the spot - wholesome comfort food, not too oily and great distribution of flavours. Nice interior (neither too formal or casual) as well and there is also outdoor seating. Had the crispy duck, crispy chilli beef + Laksa - all were excellent and the meat was well cooked. Would definitely recommend !

Vegetables were delicious. We ordered steamed fish and it was amazing. However the size of fish seemed kind of small. Overall a nice place 😀
