Lovely Guinness and the sea bass was to die for!

My #1 pub in London. Fantastic staff that make you feel like a regular from the beginning, and easily one of the best holidays meals I’ve ever had (Thanksgiving 2021). LOVE the Angel!!!

Passing by while in the city with some ex colleagues and decided to go into The Angel for lunch, what a great decision it was. I ended up having one of the best steaks I've ever tasted, it was called carpet bag fillet which was cooked to perfection along with triple cooked fries & tobacco onions accompanied by a superb Merlot recommended by Anwar.Then we had the pannacotta dessert that we all agreed was delicious. After finishing the meal we headed downstairs to the bar for an hour but ended up staying for four hours as we were enjoying it so much.Many thanks to Maggie in the restaurant and Mandy and Siobhain in the bar for looking after us and making our day so enjoyable, Also thanks to the chef for his delicious food, we have made a decision to meet up once a month and visit the Angel for a meal and drinks.P.S try the olives appetizer they are to die for

Small but excellent proper pub tucked away in a quiet street in the heart of the City business district. Serves great pint of Guinness. Very friendly landlady and staff.

I found it welcoming, friendly. The staff are friendly and able to make you feel welcome. Would most definitely recommend it to anyone.

Pretty good quality and good flavours however missing some passion to deliver the meal experience. This is zeroing out the nice table setting making it slightly expensive, articulated by the glass of beer... However do give the place the benefit of the doubt as I was there on a drinking Thursday makig the restaurant section empty but bar on ground floor half full and noisy.

I was searching for a quiet restaurant to entertain 12 colleagues and my choice of Missouri was well rewarded. The food was excellent served in the private dining room but above all the service from Anwar an Maggie was second to none. It made for a memorable dining experience. Thank you.

We booked this for a Christmas lunch for 22 of us and the food and service was 5* The steaks are beautiful and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend wholeheartedly

Just been for a great lunch at Missouri. It has a lovely little restaurant upstairs with great food and fantastic service. It's not too busy so you can still have a private conversation while enjoying a nice bottle of wine. I am definitely going back.
