Terrible service with very rude staff....13 of us had a meal here, it took ages before we were attended to, no wine/ drink menu given, it seem as if we were begging rather than paying customers. We literally forced them to talk to us and to take our order, we only stayed because we were tired and hungry and couldn’t be bother to find somewhere else. The old man was very rude, the service was S..t. No one asked if our meal was ok, 2 under cooked pasta dishes and 2 undercooked steak served with no sauce and then the vegetable came a few minutes later. The menu was limited not even a kids menu, way overpriced, we spent £430 and on leaving we weren’t even waved a good bye or a thanks for coming. RUDE Staff SLOW service. Food I will score 4/10, nothing special. This place could be so good and I can see they think they have it covered but remember people do go by reviews.. shape up before you start loosing customers. Poor Poor Service!! Avoid this place if you want a nice meal in a nice restaurant!!!!!!

Not been for several years and went back because it was always good with lovely surroundings. The food is still very, although with a couple of exceptions, but the service was slow and appeared to lack interest. I will repeat that the food was very good but the bread which was brought to the table was stale (it was towards the end of the day) and they did not understand when an Irish coffee was sent back because it was all white rather than white and black - it was replaced.

Pure class...still one of London's top restaurants

Had an atmosphere that felt authentically Italian. They charge a £2 sitting fee but that is to cover the bread and olives that they serve. They gave us balsamic vinegar and olive oil for our bread once we asked. The bread could have been toasted. The food was a tad expensive, and was ok. Like with any other restaurant, the ravioli will not fill you if that's all you're having. The pasta stemmed fresh and was cooked well.Service was quite slow and there weren't a lot of customers. When we did get servered they were quite friendly though.

Disappointing service. After we were seated by the nice lady, the waiter was quick to ridicule my choice of tagliatelle over risotto, and ended up bringing fettuccini. My server passive aggressively smothered too much Parmesan on my dish, and we were charged a cover fee (£2 per person) which wasn’t in the menu, on top of the service charge. I could’ve legally refused to pay both but I let it slide as a donation to an endangered business.

Booked table for dinner with my daughter and her 6 year old friend and mother. We where given table at the back as far away from the crowd as possible it seemed. The waiter appeared unimpressed with serving table with 2 kids, and was not smiling, felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The waiter took our order, didnt give any attention or help to us choosing with the menu, had to ask for wine menu a few times to order my drink. Food arrived super fast. Felt the service was one of the worst I have experienced in a fancy Italian restaurant. thought i was going to be impressed since this is supposed to be a great Italian. Unfortunately we where let down. Beside the bad service, the food was a disappointment. For the price - it was daylight robbery, i know we could have gone to many other Italian restaurants for same prices, but the service would have been uncompareable and the food would have been different. Sadly we definitely will not go back.

Great food TERRIBLE staff. Old men were rude and I overheard them mocking me! They were disappointed to hear that we are sharing a meal??? Unskilled old woman needed another member of staff to help prepare a table of TWO. She was ignoring us and my request for napkins. The food was good, the chef was the only member of staff that didn’t have problems with my friends and I. On top of that, they mixed up our drink order because the waiter thought he can memorise them himself. Disappointing experience.

Have been here for my birthday 3 yrs in a row now. Love this warm, cosy restaurant & always feel welcome by the attentive staff. Food is delicious & plentiful, we had lobster linguine & seabass this time. Had a leisurely meal & a most enjoyable evening. Will be back !

They forgot about us even though it was quite quiet but otherwise it was nice. Only one halal chicken item and careful of the Parmesan

Made online booking, which the restaurant did not know about when we arrived. However, they were able to prepare a table for our party of 9 people 40 odd minutes later. Management needs to work on the online booking system. Otherwise we had a great meal. Good atmosphere, good friendly service, good food. I would have given 4 stars if the online booking had worked.
