Nice coffee and cake, however is extremely overpriced and I found the staff to be very rude.

It is not really within my nature to leave reviews of cafes and restaurants, though today I feel particularly inclined to do so.I work in the area and had spotted this cafe a few weeks ago and thought it might be a sweet lunch spot, the majority of places nearby are chains like pret.I had the soup special which was leek and potato, crisps a Coca Cola and bread which wasn’t in the photograph I’ve attached. Might I add that there wasn’t anything particularly astounding about the soup and I did request salt and pepper which was never given to me. One might be more impressed by a heinz tin. The bread also arrived once I had finished the soup.At the time I wasn’t too bothered about these minor disappointments in the service and food, frankly you wouldn’t except much more from soup, a packet of crisps, bread and a Coca-Cola at a little cafe or anywhere for that matter however, the bill was £17.50 at that price I’d expect to be spoonfed.I could have had steak and chips and a small glass of wine for that price only a 15 minute walk away. It is incredibly cocky and also quite embarrassing to charge someone that much for louzy soup, even if your cafe is in mayfair and I expect you’d have finer soup in deepest darkest Peckham or perhaps even the gates of hell.

I spent my launch at Morris for the first time, and I will most likely be returning several times in the future. Great little café with very tasty food. I would love to give Morris five stars, but it is very expensive for what you get. I was expecting to get a bigger glass of Iced Tea when the price was £3.50, but sadly no. £7.50 for a slice of cake and a scoop of ice cream is also a bit steep I think, so Morris is not the place for you if you're used to spend under a tenner for lunch. I will have to think twice next time coming around what Im going to order. All in all, grand experience, but too expensive.

Had a great time, was lucky enough to be there for organic vegan wine by draught night instagram : Amabile1901 With amazing live jazz and Tosi gorgonzola cheese. The location is amazing next to all the high end shops
