Excellent quality north Indian/Mughalai Indian food with good diversity of dishes. Flat breads are all freshly prepared and have a fresh from the oven taste. Nice ambience too. Clean and well maintained toilets. The place was not too crowded for lunch either, probably because there isn't a whole lot of parking space nearby. Probably gets crowded for dinner. Good standard of service seen the two times I've been there.

I've never been to such a lame restaurant in London. The service was too slow and the food wasn't upto mark. I won't recommend to eat at this place at all. Such a wastage of time and money.

It was just a waste of time and money. Very slow service even if it wasn’t busy at all. Taste of the food is so bad. Will recommend a one pound burger of McD rather than this.

Great venue for parties, excellent food and customer service. Warm ambiance and table setting. The manager is very helpful when you communicate with them. We really enjoyed our event. Well deserve the 5* rating!

Gave them a ring prior to attending, told the guy that I would be redeeming the meerkat offer. He told me that my table was booked. Once we arrived he told us we couldn't redeem the Meerkat offer despite it being a Sunday. He told us that he would accept Groupon.. Bought the Groupon as we were starving. Once food arrived it lacked taste and there was little meat in the meat dishes. No toilet paper in the toilets. The guy serving us felt it necessary to stand over us telling us about how a sheikh had booked the whole restaurant for his wives, meanwhile our food was getting cold. Would definitely not return here. Poor service and poor quality food

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am re writing my review, still the same 5 stars, but I want to thank again Mumtaz for its superb service, quality and for always keeping their high standards. We have been coming here for more than 2 years as regulars and I can honestly say it is my favourite place to eat Indian in UK. Keep up the good work please!

This was place was extremely average. The servers were nice but a little bit forceful on trying to sell us drinks and extra food when all we were after was a straightforward dinner. The food was average. Starters were good but the speed with which they came out was concerning and on tasting them they had clearly just been flash fried or microwaved from chilled. The Mains again were disappointing the chicken was very dry and sauces a bit bland with the rice portion being a bit small.I wish places wouldn't offer Groupon deals only then to be almost grumpy that you're taking them up on the offer. Maybe if you're paying full price you get a different experience but I'm doubtful of this. The final point was on exit we were presented a bill with zero cost but an arbitrary £4 service charge which kind of came from nowhere

Mixed Grill was bland and the lamb chops bordered on cold. Decent interior. Curry dishes and naan held up better however, a lot missing from the spices. Very disappointed.

I love indian food and I bet my head that the purpose of this restaurant's owner is if someone have never tried this kitchen before, once he gets in Mumtaz Restaurant to dream to visit it again at least 3-4 times a week. The service by the waiter was kind, respectful and careful, but the food..... OMG I can't describe with words. Maybe - THE BEST is what comes only in my head. Its a must visit.
