Nando's - Cardinal Place in City of London

This Nandos is very busy and many people turning up were given timescales ranging from 20 minutes to 35 minues for a table. They need much bigger premises if they are to maximise their potential as some who requested a table did not wait but went elsewhere; shame as the food was as good as one would expect. Of note - Safi was very thorough and and efficient seeing to the needs of the customers and ensuring that after service the tables were thoroughly cleaned. She saw to it that we were checked on and that the dessert that we ordered came at the precise moment that we finished our main course. Management should be proud that they have a very efficient and hard working member of their Team.

I’ve just gone to this restaurant with my son and ordered food and drinks from the menu . I ordered a large glass of red wine I paid £41.80 in total . Whilst I was waiting for my drink I was told they have ran out of red wine , so I can either have white or a can of fizzy wine . The manager / supervisor, Sophie said that although they have another red wine they can’t open the bottle to pour me a glass as it’s only sold by the bottle . She initially told me she could not refund my meal after I had requested a refund, but she could refund the wine we were arguing in front of customers . I do not understand how the staff are trained here. I ended up demanding a full refund and going elsewhere. My advise is don’t take peoples money unless.you have the goods to sell or resolve matters adequately in a professional manner . Also do not try and haggle with customers by repeatably offering alternatives instead of giving a refund when requested the 1st time .The staff here have really gone downhill . I won’t be going back .

It wasn't tasty in my opinion. chips was cold and the entrance door does not close so cold air was coming through, throughout my time eating

First time I've ever been able to try Nando's, saw Tom Holland mention it on Hot Ones and I knew I had to prove I was better than him by getting extra hot. Don't regret it

So some pre-text: a friend of mine went to the nandos in Peckham a couple of weeks ago and he got food poisoning from there. I visited this restaurant yesterday and lo-and-behold, food poisoning! How this chain is still open, I do not know. Poisoning it's customers!

Nando's are renowned across the UK for kind, courteous staff, excellent venues and ostensibly pricing chicken per gram more than gold.This venue by Victoria station in London lives by the same Nando's script.That's not to say it's bad.Far from it.In fact the venue is rather nice. It bustles along, people come and go and no one bats an eyelid that chicken here is more expensive than venison.Cheeky Nando's.You can't write a review without saying "Cheeky Nando's" can you. It's practically law.The staff were great here. The wind was blowing a proper hooley and the door was being held closed by the foot of a well dressed, slightly camp young man on the inside who, after I bumped my head on the glass door trying to rush in was looking strangely at me with friendly bemusement. They were quite busy and he politely turned away a couple who followed us in, disappeared briefly leaving me holding the door shut my my foot (for a wee maybe? I didn't ask.), and then returned to usher us to a nearby table.Ordering was a bit chaotic. It's all done via an app on your phone now but we didn't know that until we'd managed to stare down a passing service attendant who were all very well trained in stubbornly refusing to make eye contact. She explained without a hint of condescension and in old person, mono-syllabic language that we needed to use our phones.After a very short while our drinks arrived, followed momentarily by our food. We'd ordered the sharing platter and actually it was rather good!We ate everything, as you'd expect - since what we were actually paying for was a Marco Pierre-White three course meal with fine wine. Followed by a cheese board. And port.By the time we were done we'd left nothing but bones and some of the pattern was still left on the plates.Summary: Really nice establishment, great staff and the chicken was chicken.OK, it was really good chicken too.I'll go again if I'm round that way (and have won the lottery the week before).Joking aside, if you like Nando's and everything it has to offer you can't go wrong, it lives up to the franchise expectations.

Went last week with my mother and we had a great experience. The food and the service was quality. We got served by a guy name William and he was really Genuine and charismatic , which was really nice. Top service.

Quite a slow service. When we arrived there was a large group waiting to be seated. A staff member had already been outside to check how many and they were happily waiting to be called forward when a large table was free. We were however just a party of 2 people. No one bothered to come out and speak to us. There were several smaller empty tables free. It was only when a man behind us made some noise that they decided to allocate us a table. Food also took a long time to arrive. Ladies toilets had no toilet paper.

Top notch as usual nandos love going with family easy to please all, clean inside service was good all staff 👍

Very good place to eat. The food was delicious and you have a lot of choices. Really I will visit it again and again. Prices are acceptable and employees were very friendly and ready to serve you. You can find anything about chickens and as spicy you like. Additionally, you can enjoy your beer. Thank everyone for great service.
