Neo in City of London

Nice boutique type feel bar. Bar service is fast. Venue is cool. Not your standard decor these days that are sheikh and full of flowers. Was a good change.I went for the drinks at a private event. I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend to others as good choice for private hire.

Excellent location at the Barbican building complex. Really well designed and very relaxed. Great selection of sweets and dishes, delicious breakfast, very friendly service. Will visit again when in London especially in spring and summer time.

Very swanky place, minimalist decor, nice and cool downstairs on a hot day. Good venue for a birthday party, as we did. Very pricey bar but typical for such venues. The food was decent but the pizzas were a little oily. Friendly bar staff contributed to a good atmosphere overall.

Great venue, also suitable for parties and events. As a local photography company, we've photographed a lots of clients here and they have all been extremely happy with the staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Hosted my 40th birthday there. Sonny was an amazing host. From start to finish he exceeded everything I had hoped for. Sonny and his staff are very professional and extremely helpful. We all had an amazing time. I had numerous comments from friends and family on how they loved the venue and how lovely the staff were. If you are thinking of hiring a venue for a party look no further. Just speak to Sonny and he will take care of all your needs.

It is a beautiful venue, the manager was very accommodating to my requests in terms of layout, organising tab cards and was very responsive to all my emails. On the night, my friends were all greeted with a polite lady to take their coats and the bar staff were extremely friendly too. The pizzas we ordered were amazing! All my guests loved it! The music, service and the venue made my 30th celebrations one to remember! I would definitely recommend this venue for private parties.

Sonny and his team were very friendly and professional, we received great service. The cocktails were amazing the food was great and the music was just what we wanted. The birthday girl had a great evening and we will definitely be coming back again and again..

I booked Neo back in September 2016 for my partners surprise 30th Birthday in January 2017. I found it on Google and arranged to view the bar, I had already prepared myself that it would probably look nothing like the photos anymore. I was so wrong it looked even better in real life, so clean, classy and the perfect venue for a private function. Sonny was amazing from start to finish answering any questions I had and giving me good advice. The party was great and the staff on the night were so friendly and polite, I had so many compliments on the venue and food. I would highly recommend booking Neo.

I booked Neo in December 2016 for an engagement party in January 2017.I initially found the bar through a Google search, and was immediately impressed with the look and feel of the picture gallery, as well as the fact that they had a section describing how they catered specifically for engagement parties. I then visited the bar in person after I'd reserved the date, and was pleased to see that it was as impressive in real life as it had appeared online.Whilst visiting the bar I met Sonny, the manager who had handled my initial booking query, in person. Sonny was incredibly helpful, describing how the setup of the venue could change depending on our requirements and the extra touches that he was putting in place to make the evening special - our names in lights on the wall, personalised electronic signage on the tills, even going as far as to recommend a photographer to take photos for us. The end-to-end service that Sonny provided was first rate and his attention to detail was central to the success of our night.The night itself went better than my partner and I could have hoped - the venue looked superb and all of our guests remarked that they had a memorable time. The canapés that we ordered were delicious. The bar was always busy but the bar staff were very efficient in turning orders around so that nobody had to wait too long. I didn't try the cocktails personally but they looked exceptional and were clearly expertly prepared. Prices for food and drink were about average for a London cocktail bar, but well above average in terms of quality.I would not hesitate to book Neo again and would encourage anyone looking for a cool venue with a laid-back but exclusive feel to give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

I had a lovely night here for my birthday last week. I booked the VIP area which catered for up to 20 seated and a few more standing. We were a group of 15 so the area suited us well.Neo seemed very quiet (in a good way!) for a Thursday night in central London. There were only two or three other couples dotted around, it almost felt like we had most of the venue to ourselves. I have had a lot of compliments from my friends and family for choosing this venue because of it's chilled out vibe. It's also stylishly decorated with comfy seating, and the music is not to loud so that everyone could hear each other speak!The 2 for 1 Happy Hour cocktails were delicious. We also ordered several nicely presented antipasti sharer plates and some lovely pizzas for people who were peckish after work. Overall it was a really nice night and I would definitely return in the future!
