Very attentive and friendly service, fresh delicious food and nice touches like actual napkins, white tablecloths etc.Crunchy popadums and fresh chutneys, fresh naans, aromatic saffron rice and very tasty, juicy tikka masala. All at a reasonable price. I don’t know why it’s only scored 4.1.

We had a working Christmas dinner here... The food was fantastic... Best roti rumali in town.... The food was very authentically prepared. Service was great too

Was at this restaurant on Sunday The venue had a funny smell to it the food was not fresh lamb chops was definitely not lamb maybe sheep and the service was not that great as we felt that we were being watched while we were eating our food. On the other hand if you do attend this restaurant after a drink you probably would not notice the difference.

This “Indian” restaurant looks really nice, refined and pleasant from outside, and without recommendations, I decided to take a risk.I was pleasantly surprised: each dish was a separate satisfying, aromatic journey. The papadum and 4 chutney/ sauces were fresh and creative. The vegetable samosas were truly perfumed. And the chicken masala was unusually creamy and spiced (but only mildly hot) and veritably delicious, a perfect contrast to the great texture of the saffron rice. A gin and tonic was excellent and the cheque more than reasonable for such palatial (from palate) dining experience. The service was sober and responsive, with some minor glitches such as no napkins (but quickly brought when requested). On the positive, true cloth napkins, not those disposable paper ones.I noticed the restaurant name is a woman’s name in Urdu and, interestingly, the staff, I was informed, is Bangladeshi. This added to an overall memorable dining experience.

Great curry house. Tandoori dishes are especially good

Overall good experience, I am not sure why people are complaining about staff, we haven’t faced any challenge, in fact found staff very courteous and supportive. Food quality was good, enjoyed the lamb kebabs and spinach. Also butter chicken was refreshing and tasteful. Cost wise it was ok, because of its location to Paddington station.

Thank you for a fantastic dinner. They saw us struggling with the decision and promised us that it won't be too spicy (one child) and it turned out perfect. The Peshawari Naan was sweet and soft, so was the butter naan. The chef's special lamb was amazing (must try) and the meat was so soft. The Rogan Josh lamb was so flavorful and mild. They remix the spice for the Chicken Tikka!!Amazing meal. We ate alot of Indian Cuisine in Toronto and in Asia, my hats off to the chef for blending the spices that each dish has its own unique flavor.Greeter, waiter, servers - all excellent service.Great meal for our 1st day in London. Thank God Hyde Park is few mins away... we need to walk off the calories.

Was really good - the naans were incredibly fluffy and they're not shy of garlic (in case you opt for that naan)!Good appetizer selections and mixed plates for the solo diner as well.

Ordered the spicy chicken tikka masala, a korma dish, garlic naan and cobra beer. Came in with high hopes, but both dishes were pretty bad. The dishes were sickeningly sweet. Service was pretty bad despite their attempt to be "high class" (napkin over your lap, serving food into your plate, and taking forever to get their attention). If you're craving Indian food around the area check other places as this place is not only over priced, but not authentic.
