Olivelli - Mayfair in City of London

Food was decent and well cooked (ordered the pasta Salmone (it was okay but wouldn’t highly recommend it in terms of taste) and the pasta Carbonnara).We also ordered the tiramisu which was quite big and tasty. The waitress was friendly and helpful. However thought it’s quite expensive for what it offered (in terms of taste) however, they do have sustainable sourced meat/fish and also big sized portions.

Absolutely horrified with the recent customer service - NOT CHILD FRIENDLY. I frequently visited this restaurant (want to support local) monthly for last few years before and after covid - Friday walked in to be confronted at door by manager that buggies are not allowed, advised it folds up etc. (baby zen) and then to be told in a very hostile tone we don't have any availably as 'we are expecting a large table'.. restaurant was circa 25% occupancy 6pm. Walking away my friend called and asked for a table to be informed yes of course! he confronted manager that we were just refused entry due to no availability.. to be told 'oh we just had a cancellation'.. walked by about 1.5hrs later still less than half occupancy! The rudest customer service ever.. AVOID and family's avoid... walked into Isola by San Carlo to amazing food and great customer service highly recommend...

I would say my experience here was very “meh” and borderline average which was a bit surprisingly considering how much i love the food!! The restaurant was pretty empty and the lady serving was ok but defo had a slight attitude like she didnt wanna be there. No friendliness about her at all which was immediately noticed by our table. The starters came pretty quick - we had calamari, garlic bread & arancini. All very very good and a good portion size for starters. For mains we ordered - the pesto pistachio pasta, seafood pasta & the lasagne with a portion of truffle fries. No complaints at all! I have definitely had better but I was still nonetheless happy. Portion sizes for the two pastas were good with generous amounts of seafood. The lasagne was large! I would come back here but I would prefer for that waitress not to serve us and she defo put a downer on the experience. We paid about £100 in total including a glass if wine & 2 diet cokes.

Food was quite good but a bit overpriced. The people serving us just seemed totally disinterested.Seems very odd being asked to calculate your own bill when splitting it 50/50. Needs a bit of better organisation and it could be a great place.

My favourite Italian in London. Incredible flavour and care taken in the drinks, pizza and pasta! My favourite is the spicy sausage pizza, and get lots of chilli oil and the muscles for starters!

A nice restaurant in a great location. Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. We both had veal which arrived stone cold. We duly asked for the food to be served hot. Plates were taken away without any apology. Same plates were returned several minutes later having obviously just been shoved under a grill. Again no apology. The veal was tough and tasteless and we did not stay for desserts and coffee as we had anticipated. We had a bottle of standard Pinot which was satisfactory but expensive. No offer of water. Overall experience very disappointing.

I like the restaurant, but last time I was there, I ordered pasta with seafood, and came with one prawns, and the the rest claws and mussels, I was disappointed

Not bad. Had carbonara which was a little dry, house wine was ok. There are better Italian places in London but this is ok if in the area. Friendly and attentive staff.

Lovely little restaurant, staff are very accommodating and friendly. The set lunch menu is very reasonably priced and great quality, the mussels were the best we have had in London and we were very pleased with both courses... thanks Chef 😁👨‍🍳

I chose this restaurant to make my English friends trying some Italian food. The place wasn't busy since it was Monday night, and the atmosphere was really relaxing.The waiters were really nice, especially one of them was friendly and I kind of felt in Italy.We ordered an antipasto for 2 to share, it was enough for 4 people anyway, also we ordered some olives and some calamari fritti (fried squid) for the main meal we went for pasta. The antipasto was really nice and we could really try a little bit of everything.Pasta was good too, we ordered 2 tagliolini salmone, one fiore di zucca and tortelloni paradiso, all of them were really good, the waiter asked us if we wanted paper for both antipasto and primo, and gave us cheese for the pasta.We ordered 3 desserts too and 2 espresso (one tiramisu, one torta gelato paradiso e One profiteroles).At the end the bill was around 120 pound for 4 people and I think it was a good price.The experience has been really nice and we enjoyed both the dinner and the Italian atmosphere.
