We rented the large hall for a corporate event, and a few talks in the cafe. Nice interior full of history, high end stage and technology, the food they served was good, and the staff went for the extra mile.

The staff here are exceptional. They greet you with what appears to be genuine warmth (hey, even if it's not - that's a skill in itself!) and are exceptionally efficient and pleasant whenever you come in. I've only been lucky enough to dine here three times but it is by far the best service I've had anywhere in the square mile.But you don't come to a restaurant for the service... the food is also impeccable. I've had the lamb cutlets, the fish and chips, the salsa chicken as well as a string of decadent desserts and I have never had a bad meal there. The truffle chips are cooked perfectly and the tender stem broccoli is always seasoned amazingly. I'm not really one to write 'rave' reviews but this restaurant deserves it. Whenever I'm told I'm allowed to go along it literally makes my day.If you are ever given the opportunity to eat here, take it! You will not regret it. Their wine list is also pretty good.
