Italian food from true Italian people! Delicious but kind of hard to find! definitely worth searching for it!

Staff were lovely, started off well with a really nice Garlic bread.I ordered the rib eye special at £25 with another special for the company for the evening at £22 (prawn linguine)This is where the let down was for me, the meat was cold, wasn't medium rare and bizarrely some frozen fried chips underneath that were also under done. Could eat it. The prawns seemed OK although 2 King prawns in a bed of pasta for £22 seemed a little steep. They did take the special of mine off after several requests and some negotiations but such a shame as its a great looking little place with lovely staff. We can all have an off night

Absolutely gorgeous pizza, and olives to start, which were possibly the best olives I have tasted. Calamari was a little disappointing, but it depends what you like, so few places do anything more than rings. I would definitely recommend.

My review is in addition to Darren Wildman’s recent review. I was eating at the restaurant with him. My food was ok however I did taste his steak and I did not think it tasted like rib eye at all. It was cold.Darren did not eat the rest of his meal and when I had finished mine, he requested that the waitress take the steak off the bill as he wasn’t happy with it and it certainly wasn’t worth £25.The waitress brought the bill over and the steak was still on it. A gentleman came over to our table, presumably the manager, and showed us a cut of meat that was wrapped and sealed. I appreciate he was trying to show us that he was holding rib eye however it doesn’t change the fact that the food was not good enough.The review is honest. We are not the type of people to leave unsatisfactory reviews for no reason.I booked This restaurant based on the 5* reviews and was I was disappointed. We were the only people in the restaurant, not a singleOther person came in whilst we were there.I feel disappointed that the manager has called Darren a liar.Best of luck to the staff who were lovely, sadly we won’t be returning.

We had an absolutely delicious lunch here. The garlic bread cheese and presto starter is very generous, almost like a small pizza. The veal saltimbocca had a lovely flavour and was cooked perfectly. The service was attentive but not obtrusive, and we were very comfortable inside this well ventilated restaurant, although there is seating outside if you prefer.

Lovely little Italian. Garlic and tomato bread and pork belly starter absolutely 💯 delicious.Mains lovely (just a bit too salty for my taste.) But all finished and certainly didn't detract.Friendly staff. Thank you.

A real gem, tucked away. It is a small and intimate restaurant, with authentic looking decor. I was long overdue a return after Covid, and was certainly not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.We had the pork belly to start, which was very hearty and utterly delicious. The candied fruit that it was served with turned out to be a very good coupling.I had a truffle oil pizza next, which was large and cheesy. Utterly delicious, but I unfortunately couldn't quite finish it after the pork.

Nice meal. Penne arrabbiata and garlic cheese and pesto bread. I did ask for the pasta NOT to be al dente. But they kinda still were. None the less nice flavours. Professional and polite service. Its a cute little Italian tucked away in the city cobbled streets. I did get takeaway. As always eating in makes the food 1000% better

Such a wonderfully intimate restaurant with equally wonderful staff. Made a stranger to the city feel welcome and at home. The food was perfect and put the biggest smile on my face. Can’t wait to return to here and explore the rest of their menu

We were greeted by a friendly hosted who say us quickly. This is a small restaurant so I suggest you making a reservation. The menu was good and they also speak to have new daily specials, which were also interesting. The desserts were very good, especially the chocolate cake with a tiny bit of orange flavor.
