Attempted to eat here on Friday, 11/03/2022, only to find the restaurant boarded up and signs saying that they were temporarily closed. Sorry, but forgot to take a photo as it was pouring with rain 🌧🌧. No mention of this on their website or on FB. Very poor communications.

Just left and it’s quite expensive for pretty small portions of chewy, raw spiced lamb and tasteless prawns. I’ve never had pilau rice that looked or tasted like that. The poppadums are precooked sitting in a cabinet and the naan bread was only warm.It all felt like it had been prepared a while ago and been kept in a warming cabinet. On top of all this the one waiter seemed harried even though there were only four small tables eating. Not good.

Great! I've been to lots of Indian restaurants and this one doesn't disappoint when it comes to the Indo-British cuisine. We had a delicious chicken tikka and a great selection of veggie sides. Some people may want stronger spice levels, and one or two reviews seem preoccupied with this - just state your preference and this apparent problem is solved. Let's support a great local business and enjoy great food. Staff were also attentive and polite.

Bland, overpriced and a complete let down. I understand these are trying times, but I don’t think there’s a shortage on salt.

By far the worst Indian restaurant I've been to (and I've been to a lot!).It was supposed to be a quick curry with a friend. I ordered a lamb tikka biryani and my friend a chicken rogan josh. The vegetable curry that came with my biryani was exactly the same as his rogan josh - tinned or frozen vegetables in a tin of tomato soup.Absolutely shocking place. Don't go.

Excellent food, great service and friendly staff. Have had a few meals here recently and I cannot fault the quality.

I ate here last week with friends and we all really enjoyed it. Very friendly atmosphere and really attentive service. The food itself was delicious - some of the best Indian food I've eaten recently. Enjoyed the Achari Lamb masala but also appreciated that there were some great vegetarian options for my friends who didn't eat meat. Portions were generous, food was very fresh and prices were really reasonable. Highly recommend it.

We visited this restaurant last night (04.06.21). This is one of the most delicious Indian meals we have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes of Indian cuisine. We had the King Prawn Butterfly (for 2) to start and this was absolutely delicious. For mains we had Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan, both wonderful and filling. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I listened in to other diner's commenting on their meal and all was positive. We will certainly go back here.

Would have given 3 stars for the food and place, but the staff ruined the experience. I was just finishing starters (popadoms) and a staff member took my plate and last bit of popadom. At first we just laughed, but after our meal when I put the money down for the bill, for which I required some change, he pointed at the bill and said service charge is not included and stood there until I added a tip, rude!

After 5 years of passing by, we decided to pay this place a visit. The food was ok-ish, the lamb was chewy but the coconut sauce was nice. The food did not feel very fresh as perhaps had been cooked in the morning or during the day and my portion was reheated for my consumption.Restaurant looked clean. No view of the kitchen.Staff appeared friendly, making an effort.Loos were clean.
