Pizza express st christophers in City of London

Good Gluten Free Vegan Pizza (Sloppy Vegan). Bland, but the 🌶 oil works wonders.

Visited on a Saturday night, table booked in advance. Arrive and staff just standing around we were not even acknowledged. They were very busy but just looked at us.After asking about our table we were seated. I am gluten intolerant and ordered GF dough balls for starter which were delicious. I then ordered chicken Cesar salad for my main, stating I can't have the croutons because of my intolerance. The waitress didn't know what croutons were and I explained, she still couldn't understand.My main arrives with croutons! Really very bad for a restaurant to be sending out food like this, especially if that person is a Coeliac. Staff need more training on intolerances as it could have serious consequences. I left the croutons and ate the salad, which was not ideal but couldn't take any more.Overall not a great experience and honestly wouldn't think about going back again. Some bad mannered staff and poor customer service. Not what I'd expect from this chain of restaurants, I've had great experiences elsewhere.

What a wonderful place to come for a getaway from the business of Oxford Street.I've visited Pizza Express for years and as a retail manager it's so lovely to have somewhere I can eat lunch in such a lovely atmosphere. Having recently moved location, it's lovely to once again find this happy place on St Christopher's Place. Fantastic staff every time!Many thanks Amelia and the team!

Really enjoyed my visit to this pizza Express. Atmosphere was good, food was nice and the staff very friendly. For London it was reasonably priced. Service was quite quick considering it was fairly busy. I would go again.

Great and friendly staff with a quick and friendly service! Food is of high quality and this branch is one of the best ones I’ve been to in London! The staff really make a welcoming atmosphere, the waiters and the managers all know what they are talking about and we’re able to make delicious recommendations for me and my friends ! Highly recommend!

Decent pizza but for the price and quality a bit overpriced.

The waiters were very friendly. Davide and Daniela were fantastic. Will be coming back soon. The pizza was delicious as well!

It's the evening of December 30th 2021. It's a very mild evening at 14 degrees Celsius. Every eatery, coffee shop or bar is serving customers on their outside tables. This restaurant was totally full inside and all their outside tables were empty. We approached this waiter in the photo about an outside table and he checked with the manger and they both gruffly told us "we are not serving outside" no apology no explanation, very rude. Little wonder each branch is drowning in debt with staff/managers like this.

went to this pizza express and had the worst experience ever. went in a group of around 10 people and were seated fine, the food, however, was atrocious. small portion sizes and over cooked pizza which was to be “shared”. then we paid online as they recommended for group bookings however they charged me twice and took two payments of £7.56 so when i tried to explain this to the managers, they told me there’s nothing they can do about it and i had essentially paid double the amount for food i did not enjoy and for rude customer service. i then tried to get my money back via paypal and emailing pizza express however both completed disregarded my situation. this isn’t the first time i’ve had a terrible experience at a pizza express and therefore i will never order from such place again.
