Located in the enchanting setting of Leadenhall Market in the heart of the City of London, this restaurant offers, among other things, a wide choice of gluten-free pizzas. So ideal for those whose gluten intolerance is an everyday problem.Very good welcome from the staff, attentive to the customer (I am a French tourist not mastering the language of Shakespeare). Thank you for this sweet moment at Pizza Express.

We usually like Pizza Express, the service in our local Ealing branch is definitely the best.We tried the Leadenhall Market branch this evening and hugely disappointed, the location, premises and food were all good and usual PE standard but the waitress should really reconsider her career choice, Her attitude was dreadful and shocking. She didnt want to wait for one of our party to return from the washroom before we ordered (it wasnt busy), she got the drinks order wrong, easy and forgiveable mistake but instead of apologising she made an issue of it by disputing what we ordered, no replacement cutlery, no lime in the G&T, no smile or friendly service. Couldn't wait to leave to be honest, sorry Pizza Express it may be a while before we return to any of your branches.

The service was the best here out of all pizza Express. The dough balls didn't taste as good as they hyped it to be.But the pizzas were very very good.Great tiramisuLoved it

Nice service, cheff came out to check on our pizzas, and it's a very nice place to sit outside. Look at all the detail on the structure above you, food was good too.

Not a great experience unfortunately.I wasn't asked about allergies which I always think should be a question every Restaurant should ask (I can't have certain herbs). The main bad point was that we ordered a few things to share and ordered the Vegetarian Calzone however it was cold fridge temperature - I couldn't eat it. We ordered dough balls, hallomi bites and polenta chips. We did get asked if we were enjoying our food and I said it's stone cold inside, he did offer me a Margarita instead which was a nice gesture but then of course you have to wait for it to be cooked whereas we wanted all of our items together. Not sure what went wrong with the Calzone, I would have thought the ingredients inside were cooked seperately before the dough is folded? But yes it tasted like it had come out of the fridge and straight on a plant. The building itself is very nice and the place was clean but very disappointing experience.

A friend and I had a bad experience at the Coptic Street branch which I wrote a review about. She complained and was given vouchers from head office for a free pizza for both of us. She booked this branch and we turned up on time. Guess what? The waiter said one of the vouchers had been "used already". He scanned the other one but since we can't sit and share one pizza we had to leave so that one is useless now too. She made another complaint but is yet to receive a reply. What the hell is wrong with this company? Good pizzas, lousy service.
