Booked afternoon tea via their official website (and received confirmation email) for Wednesday as part of our half term trip to London. Travelled across London and arrived looking forward to it. 2 guys on the restaurant reception told me they don't do afternoon tea on a Wednesday saying I didn't have a booking. After producing my confirmation email they found the booking and blamed the website provider for the error. Extremely disappointed by the total lack of customer care, expected better from Hilton. Said if we came back tomorrow they would give me a free glass of bubbly. Spent more getting there than a free drink and my 12 year old left disappointed. Sort it out Hilton

The best review that I can give would be summarized by saying, money well spent! We traveled to London, so that we could celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday at the Podium and they were amazing, both in quality of service and their tea time sandwiches and goodies! For anyone that is on the fence about whether or not they should give it a try, I will tell you that not only do a HIGHLY recommend it, but my family and I will be returning, in the not-too-distant future.Easily the single best experience that I have had while living in England!!!

Fantastic afternoon tea.Having taken a trip up to London it seemed only right to take afternoon tea somewhere different. The Hilton offered a Teddy bears picnic themed menu that looked brilliant on paper. On arrival the very attentive and engaging staff showed us to our table where me my two children found a lovely large Teddy bear each. The bears, promptly named Mr Bear and Harry were joined by the large assortment of freshly made sandwiches (the salmon was very good) followed by some of the best cakes I have had this side of Paris. The attention to detail was fantastic, with chocolate filled mushrooms and chocolate tea cups filled with strawberry mouse were especially good. We couldn't finish it all despite it being so good. The staff kindly offered to box the surviving cakes up and will be enjoyed with a cup of coffee on return home.

I love afternoon tea and have been to many restaurants to try this experience. The sandwiches course was very small but compensated for by excessive fantastic cakes and scones. Only niggle is they limit you to two small pots of tea that isn't enough to cleanse the pallet when eating such rich goodies.

I purchased a 'Chocolate Lovers Afternoon Tea' off of red letter days and it is exactly as described! I could not fault the food or the presentation here! There was so much chocolate that we had to take some away in a carry box (again great service.) My only issue with my experience was the live singer, she was good, and she reflected the mood of the restaurant, but she was so loud that it was an issue, I was barely able to have a conversation with my girlfriend. There was a point where she stepped away for a 30 minute break, which was far more enjoyable than when she was singing.

The restaurant is a lovely size, set out with plenty ty of space to enjoy your privacy. The staff are all very friendly, attending to your needs. The selection of sandwiches is just right as the patisserie is so filling as too are the scones! The selection of teas is excellent, with a wide range to suit all tastes.I would look for vouchers online as, although this is not the most expensive tea in London, if you can find a better deal, it is well worth looking

My mother bought myself a two person wowcha voucher for Xmas 18, managed to book a table weekend before Xmas and wasn't disappointed at all. Service was great and would always top up your wine, food amazing and quality all round. Would happy attend this restaurant again and would certainly recommend to others. The hilton has a sense of class others cannot match.

Lovely afternoon tea and as it was such a hot day the waitress also offered us juice instead of tea / coffee. Staff were attentive and the food was lovely. Scones were the best scones my mum and I have ever tasted.

The food was awful! We had a "3 courses and bottle of wine" deal and we were able to choose from a la carte menu instead of set menu. All 3 courses were horrible, it was so quite, just another 2 tables and yet we had to wait for waitresses to pay attention at us. I could not believe it because the food looked good but the taste was just terrible.
