Came for sunday roast with family in group of 8; food and service were perfect. Pub roasts usually disappointing but this one was 10/10 and everything tasted like it had just been cooked and not just heated up. Deserts were all really good too and not just the usual sticky toffee etc. will def be back. Thanks all

The rainy Sunday afternoon a warm welcoming feeling when you enter the main doors looks afresh old rusty pub that has a splash of some colours. The service is decent and I would say the speed of service is decent. The burger was great the buns wasn't crispy from the inside. Felt a bit moist. The chips were chunky but nice on a bite. The roast loved the quantity and the sauce was great.Over all it was nice for a rainy Sunday afternoon.

we have been coming here for over a decade. It has now changed at the back, it is a very chic restaurant yet the front stays the same, great local pub. Food was really delicious, we had bone marrow, octopus, pork belly and fish and chips, corn fritters, negronis to start with and some lovely wine. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. It was a great experience and a nice surprise to find the revamped back.

You go to a pub and you get a gastronomic experience! The food is simply amazing, with original recipe and dishes directly cooked by the chef with care and excellent quality. The dishes are presented in a way that reminded me of a Michelin star restaurant. The service is super nice, kind and fun. And it's really good value for money! I totally recommend this place, I will be back for sure.

Part 2 - we came back at the weekend. It was just how we remembered it. Great service and the food was excellent. Perhaps the poor service was a little blip with the new management getting to grips with things. So I am posting a new score. Thank you for turning things around! See you very soon!—Concerned citizen! You are our local pub. We used to love to come here and have wonderful memories spent here. While the food is of a decent standard it takes WAY too long to be served. This is the third time now where we have been waiting for close to an hour to be served. The refurb looks great, the servers are nice and friendly. But please sort out the speed of service. Do you need to hire another chef? Do you need a more efficient chef? Please fix it. We love this pub and want to continue to come, but we’ve run out of patience. We walked in today hoping and walked straight out when we heard a parent of two beggingly asking where the food was and that they had been waiting for too long. Please.

Tagliata was served lukewarm, and kinda soggy. Disappointing for the price. This is a dish I've cooked myself - it needs searing heat and fast service. I love the Boney, it's my local, but we can do better.

Came here for Sunday roast with four friends. We had the two trio of roasts, which is meant to be shared for two people. We asked the server if it was a lot of food and if it made sense to order sides. The server assured us that we'd be able to finish the sides as well, so we ordered 3 sides. The meal was massive. Presentation wise it looked great, and the chicken, port and carrots very very delicious. The roasted beef was, however, bland and tough. The potatoes were alright, though my friends were disappointed with their lack of crispiness. I found the mac and cheese bland, though my friends did enjoy it. Despite the assurance from our server, we did not come close to finishing the meal. We definitely should not have ordered sides. Otherwise perhaps only one trio of roasts, and then some more sides. They did not have a great selection of beers. I was allowed to taste their beers, but did not find any that were more than okay. The interior was very nice, and one of my friends found the chairs extremely comfortable.

Very good service and very professional staff, they are attentive and accommodating. The roast beef it is very good, right amount and very tasty. Price for money balanced. We will be coming again for sure

Really nice food. Location is really central in Notting Hill. Ideally you get a reservation. Food was tasty and average pricing for the area. Service is really relaxed, to be honest way too relaxed. 50 minutes from ordering to our main courses arriving and we were the first people to sit down in the restaurant section. Saying that all the staff were very pleasant and smiley, but lacking in any sense of urgency. Overall a really nice place for Sunday lunch .
