Excellent south indian/Kerala cuisine. Taste on point. Very warm and friendly staff. And to top it all its very reasonable in price as well. A gem amongst host of random Indian curry houses around.

went in with my boyfriend on a quiet wednesday night; staff was incredibly, the food was amazing, the ambience was just right. the poppadoms and dips were fantastic, and the sweet coconut paratha was the perfect side to our curry. would definitely come back.

As Kylie would say, wow wow wow. From the second you walk in and the kind and genuine welcome, all through your meal, this is just a great place. This is clearly a family concern but it steers well clear of "fake authenticity" it is also identifiably Keralite but doesn't shout it out.The only thing that shouts out is the food, which is so delicious it's vice like - I haven't taken heroin but this food is both comforting and intoxicating, as addicts say, and it massages your tastebuds like a well practiced hooker rubbing you in warm oil (again, something in which I will absolutely deny having ever participated, honest!).When I mentioned no "fake authenticity" the chef seems to have a great liking for The Clash. This place isn't taking the Michael, it is what it is and the only Michael is the Marks and Sparks v-neck jumper the fantastically welcoming and brilliant waiter is comfortably wearing.I was going to give the Ragam a one star rating so that no one would come here and so I could have the place to myself but that would just be cruel. Having said that, knowing my luck, the next time I come here I won't be able to get in because bleedin' Kyle will have booked the entire place out for her and her mates - Wow, Wow, Wow!!!

A great discovery. Went for a curry after the cricket and all of us lived the place. Will definitely head here next time we are in London looking for a curry.

What a great place! I ordered the Chicken Rogan Josh and was pleasantly surprised by how distinctly different it tasted from the ones I had before. The dish had a strong emphasis on its spices and simply tasted divine. It was very hot, too which I liked.

I couldn't believe it when I returned to this restaurant after a year or so of not having visited. Clearly acquired by a new team (I had been a regular before but now didn't recognise any of the staff) - this WAS a FANTASTIC restaurant, best curry I have ever tasted - I returned with some friends (dragged them across town to come) and was completely shocked at what had happened to it. Ordered a Korma and it tasted and looked like milky custard (no joke - see pic), even the chutneys and dip for poppadoms (which used to taste fresh and fragrant) were bland and probably out a bottle from Sainsbury's. The staff used to accommodate most requests, but my vegetarian friend asked for a curry dish with just veg instead of meat and the staff said no you can have a vegetable side dish instead - ridiculous. Not to mention the prices had increased significantly. Hugely hugely sad that this wonderful place has fallen from grace.
