Raoul's Cafe in City of London

"Raoul’s Deli has an incomparable range of food and drink. Customers are seen leaving the famed Deli jute bags full of cold meats, artisan bread, specialist cheeses, wines, luxury chocolates and freshly mixed salads. The Deli also specialises in unusual and seasonal foods, attractively packaged and serve as great gifts. This variety makes the Deli a stop-over for nearly everyone in the area, whether they need a takeaway lunch, first-class quality home products, or a little extravagance. It is a feel-good place where visitors are made to feel welcome and we have worked to provide such a range of products to our customers, who happily know that it is virtually impossible to visit Raoul’s Deli without buying more than intended."

Lovely staff, great cocktails, great informal atmosphere, quirky surroundings. I went with my friends Saturday afternoon. Our only complaint was a long walk to ladies toilets also confusing trying to find your way back, especially after a few cocktails 😆 🤣

I've been to this place a few times. I love "The Parlour" room. I always book it. The decor and space is intimate but also a place to relax for business and leisure. The staff are excellent. A shout out to the cute and friendly waitress named "Kenya"- she knows who I am 😉

Rude waiter who cut his eyes at us then, dropped drinks on table in a huff. Final straw was when he then got our bill & card reader when no one asked for the bill! Also door staff were rude too! Worst part is overpriced watered-down mocktails & cocktails. Place it poorly managed - I’d never go back. Only reason it gets a star is the view/location!

No formality, no rules at Rake's... Brilliant service and great menu (food and drinks). Prices are fair for what is being served.Very quiet on this 17/12/21 and I do feel sorry for the team if more cancellations are coming their way.Cannot wait to return.

My wife booked brunch here last Friday. I had a bit of a heavy night the day before.Firstly the venue is beautiful. Its a place where you can entertain.Sam and his team ensured we had a great experience. The food was excellent, brilliant veggie brunch and breakfast options, the right portion sizes too. The drinks were perfect too.I will definitely be going back, the venue is beautiful, food delicious and service professional all at excellent value for money.

I took my bestie here for her Birthday Lunch, service was top notch and the food and drinks were delicious. Post lockdown, all the safety procedures were in place and we felt very confident and comfortable. Sam- the manager really looked after us and the decor is gorgeous. I highly recommend Rake's.

Rake's Café Bar is located right next door to Liverpool Street station, and is part of a hotel, making this place an extremely convenient stop off point if you're after some quality Halal food. And with a private room (called No.3) this would also be an ideal place for a business meeting, or if you're seeking after some privacy. In any case, the place to dine in for us was The Parlour lounge given both its relaxed atmosphere and the alcohol bar being fairly low key in comparison to its larger counter part next door. The food here varied mostly in between the good and the very good. The buttermilk chicken burger was probably the best dish had on the evening. And don't forget their mocktails - outstandingly good!Stick with our menu recommendation below and don't forget to subsribe to our Youtube account before checking out our video review above.Menu RecommendationDrink - The Amuse GooseStarter - Sesame Cauliflower WingsMain - Buttermilk Chicken BurgerDessert - Chocolate CakeHALAL STATUS: Halal lamb & chicken • Alcohol served2018 review

Gorgeous decorations and ambiance, really elegant and pristine. The guacamole and hummus were delicious although the portions are a bit small. Nice chips and good latte. It is mostly a place for drinks and they have awesome cocktails. The reason for 4 stars is that the service was extremely slow, we had to call for it twice after 20 min of waiting and they forgot our order.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Rake's Cafe & Bar. Conveniently located by Liverpool Street station, I found the staff welcoming and friendly, the cocktails delicious and the setting sexy, comfortable and atmospheric. I was highly impressed by the signature cocktails and I'd recommend the 'The Marriage' which was sweet and easy to see why it's a favourite among staff when I asked for a recommendation. For something a little stiff, I'd also recommend the whisky-based cocktail 'The Gaming House. Rake's Cafe & Bar is perfect for after-work tipples with friends and colleagues. I would definitely come back here again.
