Where is Raoul's Cafe - Maida Vale?

🏠 8-10, Clifton Rd, London W9 1SS

"Raoul’s Deli has an incomparable range of food and drink. Customers are seen leaving the famed Deli jute bags full of cold meats, artisan bread, specialist cheeses, wines, luxury chocolates and freshly mixed salads. The Deli also specialises in unusual and seasonal foods, attractively packaged and serve as great gifts. This variety makes the Deli a stop-over for nearly everyone in the area, whether they need a takeaway lunch, first-class quality home products, or a little extravagance. It is a feel-good place where visitors are made to feel welcome and we have worked to provide such a range of products to our customers, who happily know that it is virtually impossible to visit Raoul’s Deli without buying more than intended."

High quality products - sandwich's are lovely!

I wanted just a sandwich; there were none and the staff was very unhelpful ,aloof and despondend as well. Somewhat in doubt, I reluctantly decided to get an arancino as a snack :big mistake as I had to leave it halfway without eating because it was so absurdly salty I could not swallow. The coffee was so so, and the prices were absurdly high to say the least given the choice and low quality displayed. No smiles, no proper education, treated as they were doing a favour to admit me in the premises and paid through the nose. A THOUSAND THUMBS DOWN. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Amazing spot for getting gourmet things in London. Always been served in the most polite and friendly way. And I'm surprised seeing ppl's bad comments like 'we've been coming here for years, everything was great, but one day sth not nice happened, so I'm giving a bad review'. Honestly, I think it's not fair, that's why writing this review :) The place is great and defo deserves 5 stars. We've been coming here for years also (especially for truffle chips, shish Raouls, desserts and french sausages). And the pricing is reasonable for the things here as well as the service. Thank you Raoul's team from one of your loyal customers.

Coffee used to be perfect but now it’s too hot and frothy. I also ordered a hot meal and it wasn’t microwaved properly but I was still charged VAT and the server said there was nothing they could do.

Very nice place with good staff and extraordinary dishes. Salads and lasagna are spectacular. Very good choice of wines, cheeses and ice cream. Would highly recommend. Thanks to manager Wojtek and Filipa for professional and welcoming service. Chris

We’ve been shopping at Raouls for a few years now and the quality of their products and service has always impresses us. Is it the cheapest place to shop? Nope, but you get what you pay for. Our number one favourite is their artichokes which are absolutely delicious 🤤

The pastries look very nice (haven't tried). The service is very slow, even though there was no queue. The staff acts like you're doing them a favour by shopping there. I had to wait longer, because they made a wrong coffee at first. Prices are good, but the coffee is rather average too. Before I used to get coffee on the other side of the street in the dedicated cafe, but now everything has moved to the deli. This time the coffee didn't taste good, usually it was quite nice

I have been coming here a couple of times a week for the last three months - I had good and bad experiences however the quality of the service is inconsistent except for one polish attendant. Last visit was a big disaster. I was told in an angry tone that the manager said no smoothies for me due to the addition of the carrots used in my smoothie which I was always willing to pay for. On top of that when I asked for the ginger biscuits for my daughter I was told "no body eats that" to which I replied "my daughter loved it."And one of the attendants were so rude, when I asked to half my pizza - he immediately snapped at me he said "madam we don't do that in here," thinking I was only going to buy a half. The whole visit was a bad experience.I'm not coming here again.

It was my first visit since we recently moved to the area.Looks so nice as a store outside as well as the interior.Everything is placed nicely and neatly.Though, the prices are a joke and nothing particular in terms of taste. Most items don't even have price tags. So you go at the till and you get : "Surprise!"

I saw nice elderflower drinks and "posh" ice cream. The store was tidy and organised. I was greatly impressed by the big slices of cake for £3 odd.
